I can sort of understand why someone in a 15 year old Honda Prelude might do that....well, actually, no, I can't even understand why a Honda owner would do that, but seriously...an Audi R8??

I guess one possible benefit is when you get pulled over for speeding, the officer will write on the citation that the vehicle was a BMW 850i. Then when you appear in court to dispute the ticket, you can tell the judge that the officer must have had a few too many over lunch because you don't drive a Bimmer, you drive an Audi R8.

Maybe he wished BMW would make better looking cars or something.......Could be possible because BMWs r looking like Honda Civics from the year 2000.

BMW by russian standards is a higher benchmark then audi, arguably same case for the rest of the countries. R8 is too slow, so maybe he thought he would scare off possible run ins with his bimmer badge. looser

Priceless.....maybe the owner has so much $$ that it doesn't matter. I could see me doing something extremely stupid like that if money were no object. You have to look at the humor factor.
