I guess I'm not that much younger than you...7 years younger actually. I've got a 7 1/2 year-old and an almost 3-year-old and I'm thoroughly enjoying driving my new C63 AMG (booster seat in the back and all ) like you. Enjoy!

Yeah...funny story which I'm sure a few of you guys (who are similar in age as me and have worked hard to own such a car as the MB C63 AMG) can relate to...a couple weeks ago, I was describing my new MB C63 AMG to my wife's aunt (she's in her 50's, drives a Lexus RX350, and is nosey as *****; always asks how much things cost, etc. ), and she had the nerve to ask me if I was having a mid-life crisis (just by the fact that I bought a 451HP limited production monster MB sports sedan; came from driving a tuned BMW 335i btw). I was shocked at her assumption, but I simply looked her in the eye and said, "no, I have ALWAYS been into sports cars; it's just more of a hobby and a passion for me now, since I can actually afford such an awesome car. If I could afford a Ferrari, I would have one."
Then, my wife turns to her and says, "boys and their toys."

Frankly, I for one am glad you "older" guys are on this Forum and driving the C63 AMG; it kind of annoys me when a Forum is almost completely filled with much younger guys driving $50k+ sports cars...even if they actually can appreciate the value of money. Ahem, the very, very active E90Post.com is probably ~ 85% of guys < 25 years old (and many are still in high school, driving these tuned, 400HP+ BMW's ).
So, I say, "good for us, 'older' guys!"

But you know what they'll say on E90Post: "I told you so, MBs are for old farts who can't drive a stick."
Seriously, read some of what's on there, they're like little kiddies.
I just tell them that my job as a greeter at WalMart has allowed me to buy my Grampa-mobile E63
