AMG's now eligible for MBCA Loyality Reward

According to the MBCA website (http://www.mbca.org):

"As of August 1, 2009, club members in good standing of 12 months or more,
who purchase a new AMG vehicle are eligible for a $1,500 MBCA Loyalty Reward card.
The expansion of the program will apply to AMG vehicles purchased after August 1, 2009."

I printed out the form and did NOT see a requirement of a > 08/01/09purchase date. I purchased mine on 07/16/09 so I am submitting the reward
form anyway, just in case...

I did notice that this is a reward card, not a rebate check as I had received
for previous MB purchases.
The reward card is valid towards parts, service, personal and vehicle accessories at any Mercedes-Benz dealer.

I submitted the paperwork today, so I will let you know!
$1500.00 in free MB service and parts would certainly help...

The only thing is the one December I got a C-Class. Then the next January I got a SLK.

I found out about the loyalty credit for joining right after I bought C Class but figured "I'll never buy a car for like 4 years, so I'll join a year before that."

Sometimes you don't know what the future holds, so might as well join a bit earlier than expected, but just my opinion. After all, once you do take the $1500 someday, that pays for like 30 years of membership.

My $1500.00 American Express Loyalty Reward card showed up today,
even though I purchaded my C63 on 07/16/09.
The reward card is valid toward parts, service, personal and vehicle accessories at any Mercedes-Benz dealer.
So if you purchased your C63 this year, and have been a member of MBCA for
the 12 previous months, you have $1500.00 waiting for you.

I would doubt it, since MBCA is Mercedes Benz Club of America,
although you might have an Australian counterpart.

I know the Classic Center will discount 15% if you're a member. Dealership offerings vary but, if you buy parts and use their labor, they seem to offer the discount.
