i posted the video look at the post before urs .. i have e55 that is heavily modded and know what our cars run . the c63 can be fast i have respect for the car but it just cant compete with the tq we have and we can do so much more in mods 63's are just limited but who knows down the road

i know e55 are beasts, but i never seen one OF nos doing 10's.
and trust me it wont take long before the 63 go into the high ten's

 

it's a serious leap from 11.4 to 10.99 so don't pretend 63's are knocking on the door just yet...especially without f/i or n2o.

not that it matters but several e55's will do 10's off n2o in coming months, weeks, or maybe even days if they can get out to the track.

 

once ur car gets to where its running mid to low 11's it takes alot to gain a tenth or 2 . alan in the video u saw will run 10's easy without NOS . its all on his car getting out of the hole better , his car has the power to get 10.8 or better . until the 63 comes out with something incredible its not gonna beat the 55

 

i know its a leap, but i also know that a c63 with headers and tune and airbox is right there. time will tell and i hope we get alot of good winter days with no snow and rain so we can prove ourselfs.

the e55 has been out since, 2003 and NO ONE has hit 10's yet.(off nos) i bet you anything that a c63 will hit 10's this winter.

e55 came out 2003 now its 2009 thats 6 year.
the c63 just came out last year. and they proven to be very powerfull with just tune and headers. and the LT'S just came out. wait till nov and will see what c63 run. i know e55 will run faster but dont be suprised when the c63 runs high 10's

 

if the c63 does run a 10 that would be great .. and i would love to see it happen .

 

yes, the platform has been out since '03 but nobody had stepped up with "real" performance parts until last year and it wasn't until this year that custom tuning became available so that we can even get the most out of those parts.

yes a 63 may hit 10's this winter in -2000ft da but they still may need n2o. if some of these non-n2o 55's can get to mir with those conditions they will set records that no 63 will be able to touch off n2o or f/i...PERIOD.

i still love to see 63's keep getting faster though!

Ok we will see. As soon as someone talks about the 63 getting in 10's every 55 owner jumps. Relax everyone wants the samething to be fast and have fun. You guys take it to personal.

So N/A the quickest 63 ran an 11.3 if I remember correctly and thats with some weight reduction. It's a big jump from 11.3 to 10.99, I'm not saying it cant be done and I actually hope it does happen.

 

besides jrcart has anyone else ever run 11.3's in a 63? and even with an 11.3 he couldn't even run 10's with n2o at the event i was at...so yes, that is a BIG jump!

 

The 11.3 was an isolated incident. I believe the more consistent (and repeatable) result for a 63 without NOS is 11.44 to 11.47. Before the C63s came into play, these numbers have been achieved by 3 different CLK63 BS all with Evosport mods. It will be a very hard jump from 11.4 to 10.9 for any 63.

Also, notice that no E63 has gone quicker or faster than 11.9 @ 118 (oldgixxer's stock run at ATCO a couple of years back). The 63 engine needs a lighter car to shine....

EDIT: with new cams, intake system, and other goodies borrowed from the SLS, a 63 maybe able to hit very high 10s but that's pushing it.

 

when running in the 11's, dropping a half second off an et isn't as easy as some seem to think. i'm not...but i hope i'm wrong.

well, you can check mine from 60 - 320km and i didn't floor it till the end, about 80% pressing the padel. and it wasn't high modified + a tune.
