Guys,
Its not worth the argument. It was a fun race and maybe the guy didn't know how to drive. We raced and I enjoyed it. There are always cars out there that are faster. Maybe I got lucky. We'll see what she runs in the cooler weather when winter gets here in Florida. Then we can see what she really has with the new L/T's and tune.
The times are in dragtimes.com and that was many mods ago. I do have video's and the time slips.
The car is set up right now for high speed straight runs so maybe the mods are working. Be safe racing!!

Oh I bet!! I think this is just some simple discussion, and all in fun. The C63 is fast, but the Z06 is fast as well, but a bit lighter. Now I have a mission LOL, to build my C63 (when I get it) into a Z06 killer, and offer the knowledge for others to do the same.

Did he post his timeslip on Dragtimes.com?
And, if so and it's legit, then there's no argument if his highly modded C63 AMG is that fast; it too is certainly in the Z06's ballpark then as well. 
That's also in the Nissan GT-R ballpark as well...actually a slightly faster ET and higher trap than a stock GT-R.

Although I'm a bit sarcastic on the private track rental thing, I never doubted his run; I was just saying that if he runs that fast, then there should be no reason to doubt he can hang with (and possibly beat) a Z06.

If you beat a more capable car, you beat the driver, plain and simple.
I have beaten multiple faster cars than my own(what ever I had at the time), but never do I claim it is the faster car. I beat the drivers.
Anything can happen on the street.
A cool race I saw was, a exhaust, intake, tune, C6 Z06 walk a 600+whp Kennebell 03 Cobra on the highway. That particular cobra runs 10's.
Fine auto's indeed.
