where is the ECU and how hard is it to remove

where is the ECU and how hard is it to remove
From what i understand you can take it off and mail it for the tune.

should be underneath plastic cover on the driver side in the engine bay close to the firewall

Not right away, my wife sez i have to buy a new metal roof for our house first then i can upgrade so it looks like 4-5 months before i can get it.

pfff.....who needs a metal roof when you can get a tune on your car? lol its not like your roof is going anywhere.....or is it leaking?
