+31 km/h on a normal road, then its 3 month suspension, i did 80 km/h over and six month was the result. How is it in the U.S? Guess its different rules in different states tho.

Wow! That's not much room to play at all. You're right that it varies from state to state. I got a ticket for 36 mph over last year in South Florida and when all was said and done, I had to pay court costs and attorney's fees (but got no points on my license). Granted when you start hitting 25-30+ mph over in most states, I believe the police officer has the option of arresting you on the spot...

2004 S55 (SOLD, miss it every day), 2009 GL550
a friend of mine (the guy that got me addicted to AMG crack) just got a ticket for 85 mph in a 55 zone in VA. The trooper said he was giving him a break, and from what my friend said (had been doing 90 - 95), he did.
The trooper also said that 90+ is automatic jail time in virginia, with 1 day per mph over 90. I don't know how true that is, but I do know virginia is *not* the place for excessive speed.

50km/h+ here in ontario canada and they impound your car.. If you're driving a c63.. you'll always find yourself over the 50km/hr mark since most cars travel at 120 on the hwys..

yea it sucks.. its a new street racing law implemented last year.. I think they consider you street racing even if you're just driving 50km + by yourself
