Package from AMG
As I expected, I got a package yesterday includes some AMG history and one CD. The funny thing is that it also includes a $100 department store gift card!!! I just handed it to my wife and she was really happy about it..At the same time, I just asked if I can do some mod to my car.. like K1...
I think it's a great strategy designed by AMG, help husband to spend extra money on the car...Thanks!

You’re not wrong, though to be fair it’s not just AMG’s. All vehicles here cost a mint both local and imports. An example is the Pontiac G8 & GXP, it’s the same as our local Commodore with a different front bar to give it the Pontiac look. It’s was manufactured here in Australia and exported to the USA and sold for around $10,000 cheaper than we could buy it locally. Stamp duties and sales taxes are a killer here. Also a number of manufacturers do provide a detail range of gifts to soften the blow, such as watches, clothing, golf supplies and so on. Though I’d much prefer no gifts and a cheaper price for the car.
I should add I also received 2 x AMG key rings, an elongated duplication of the AMG badge, 4½ inches long x ¼ inch wide. Understandably they were never taken out of their holding cases, I didn’t want to impale one into my leg if I sat down whilst it was in my trouser pocket.

I got this as well! It was very nice! I bought my C63 a couple of months ago and it came in the mail maybe 4-5 weeks after the purchase. Great DVD, $100 to Saks Fifth, some cool literature, etc.

I got champagne, some floor mats and a magazine! Also got a MB zippo as a gift, since dealer is a friend of the family.
Very nice lighter, but made me think if it is politically correct, as a corporate policy, to encourage smoking... was thinking about that while smoking a cigar... haha
