C63 aftermarket pulley $500 (different one)

I hope I am helping some folks out. I am a customer of this shop(goodspeedperformancelab). I have been there a few times and I know they work on many imports. They have a pulley set for the C63 for only $500(new). It got my attention because I have seen pullye sets for well over $1000 on this same website(MBwolrd).

Also, the owner of the shop built a CLS63 AMG and he custom built a set of headers that made 40whp over a set of existing Rentech headers. Here is the link and please feel free to call them to verify prices and other stuff. They are located in Chandler, AZ(I call it Phoenix).

http://www.goodspeedperformance.com/...3AMG&prodid=84

Also, their website was down for a while and it still does weird things other than that the shop is legitimate.

Was it a Silver AMG, you say? LOL!!!! You guys should be all over this dude for the LT headers at a reasonable rate. I asked for $2500 6 months ago and was told to lick pie. Now, hm...getting close...,

The owner charged $4000 for this initial header for that particulat CLS63 AMG owner. I believe he used some computer software to build it and calculate the flow and the angles and all that.

I want to say that he had a template in which he mentioned to me that further and future headers will cost significantly less. Most of the cost on his first header was the reserach and development.

It is absolutely worth calling him because I have seen the dyno and it made over 40 whp over the Rentech. That car put sick power, over 700lb-tq with the NOS.

The link, dyno and pictures were posted on their website for a while. They had a link/website issue that lasted a few weeks but before you could see the gains of that white CLS63 AMG from a customer from California. You never know, perhaps the customer of that car is on this forum.

I took pictures of it. I can go and view them really quick. You might be right and I could be worng. This car was lowered and it had one of the fattest lips I seen on a rim.

I found it. You were correct, it was silver:

No kidding but it was so sunny and the car's paint was so bright that it looked like white but the above link shows the gains.

Beautiful work. Isn't that the normal gain with LTs over shorties as evidenced by the MHP LTs? Good to know that the Evosport pulley does make power, but at the expense of lower alternator voltages.

Is the Goodspeed crank pulley internally dampened like the Evosport one?

I thought they just went back to the OEM pulley size, not one from goodspeed. That is Rick's car. Easily the fastest 63 I have been around and cleanest. He runs 1/4 mile tracks all the time and hit up the Texas mile last year in his 20" Vellanos. That car is a BEAST!

Yes, normal gains. But not normal pricing...

After reviewing their product(pulley) I think it is not that good of a deal. The product description mentions that it is only a 10% weight savings. They quoted me at $142 for labor(install).
