There was a test in 0-400m in one of magazine in Japan. This AMG C63 was tuned in Japan using Evosport parts. It had: ECU upgrade, Long tube header, Airbox, their orginal x-pipe, KW3 and it did not say exactly what time but it said earliy 13sec. Hoping to get into 12 sec next time. By looking at it Dadsc63 is fast car. Weather was cool in Japan so there was no problem in that.

He had regular radial tire on. Does everyone put on specail drag race tire when they race?

That must be a POS driver with a POS car test. It is absolutely uncomprehensible a C63 AMG running 13's.

This C63 AMG in Japan has 530hp. :

Its probably that huge ugly wing on the trunk lid slowing the car down.

GT wing you dont want on 0-400m it well slow down the car only good on track. But the car I was talking about is not mine.

this car was slow. Stock C63 can beat this one. I dont know if he is putting evosport parts wrong or something. Really slow time

 

I can say from experience (unfortunately) if you can't get your 60' times under 2.3 seconds, then you'll be hitting 13's all day long in a stock C63. On street tires it does require just the right amount of finesse to pull off a good 60', which will yield nice E.T.s.

 

And some decent prep work on the track.

 

Like people is hitting 11's do most people use drag race tire? I was thinking 11's in street tire is fast.

 

Yes you need that to get accurate time.

I bet if Evosport people see this 13's they well cry.

This tire is 22inch 385/15R.

But most of their product for C63 is from Evosport (engine) and Revosport for body kit.

But one thing that is orginal is picture attached is X-Pipe and Sport cat. This looks nice. I have X-Pipe.
