maybe with the SLS parts installed aftermarket tuners can run more aggressive tunes on the PPP equiped C63 putting out even more horsepower.

I still haven't heard anything about this around the dealerships (have to admit though, I have yet to ask). Does anyone even have an approximate date when this package will become available?

Actually this is not true. Mercedes' factory programed the C63's throttle plates to not open up all the way. No amount of hardware will fix that.

They have been delivering P31 cars since middle of January. Package became available with December '09 build dates.

Not that I'm complaining, but I'm sure "justification of cost" had something to do with it.... Charging $6,000 for a +30 hp ECU tune would drive customers away, but changing some hardware with it, makes it more attractive

In 2006 Porsche hit me for $17,200 for the X51 perf package to the Carerra S that added 16 HP and some hardware and software changes plus a CF airbox.
