Just got a postcard in the mail regarding the UMI upgrade for 2008-2010 C class and some GLK's.

Has anyone had it done? Cost?

I honestly don't use my ipod much now since it doesn't come up on the COMAND screen. I might use it more if it did.

The real-time traffice assistance might be cool.

Check the W204 posts. Couple members have installed it- cost around $1500+.
Price is ridiculous.
This company has an alternative and price is around $300 shipped. It is also completely plug-n-play according to their tech support.

I wanted the upgrade too, Simonson in Santa Monica wanted 1800 for the unit and 600 for install which is f'ing absurd. I would love a cheaper alternative

The upgrade is on the AMG website....looks like it's $1290 option on a 2010 (that's ****ing insane)

the ipod information really doesnt come up on the nav screen?

If I am using my Nav while my iPod is playing I set the iPod info to show in the gauge cluster so I can see both at the same time. F paying MB those ridiculous prices.
