I dont buy this for one second. And for the record I dont know either of these guys nor have I spent a dime with GTPro but this is a joke.
Just read the timeline. Who in their right mind is that much of a SUCKER to continue down this path? Oh $6k. Still not fixed. Oh another $8k. Still not fixed. Whats that, send it to you for $25k. Sure! Still not fixed. How about I just give you the car for $10k and I'll feel much better about being jacked for $49k instead of $59k. Oh youre gonna back out? Im gonna post on the internet!
This just does not add up. If it didnt get fixed the first time why on earth would you continue to pay for it to be fixed?
Its even dumber the more I think about it. This guy has to know that the car, in parts, is worth over $10k. Why would he ever just hand even MORE profit to a guy who has "scammed" him?

It appears a few local and out-of-state tuning shops were involved in the installation of GT PRO's parts; not saying that Brian @ GT PRO couldn't have done more to help his customer out, but there are many factors involved here in this particular case.
Not sure why this guy would spend $59,000 on an old Dodge Stealth TT anyway. My brother has a '92 Dodge Stealth TT that he's modded, but maybe for a total of $5-$8k...that thing is insanely fast!
In any event, I hope this gentleman has retained an attorney to help him. Like they say, you "gotta pay to play."
edit -- I also somewhat agree with rory breaker...paying sooooo much $$ on all this stuff and shipping the car out of state is just plain stupid; sounds like something a multimillionaire (who doesn't give a rat's *** about $$) would do without thinking twice about it.

damn. Sounds kinda fishy though. At some point common sense would have had to come into play and cut his losses instead of continuing to pony up the cash.
Still, GT Pro must have done something to **** this guy off cause it's more than just caual troll posting on a forum. The guy registered the domain and built a site dedicated to it. At least the timeline matches up...cut off communications in october and domain was registered november 17th through godaddy for a year.

Could simply be competition making an elaborate story to make Brian look bad. Economic times are bad and people will go to great lengths to get that extra dollar. Maybe Brian is a close competitor and this guy wants his business...who know's?

If a $27k bill just magically appears then its your own fault for not controlling the costs as the build was happening
For $27k he should have got a 2004 SVT Cobra delivered with his Stealth parts

lol that sucks I was thinking of doing my ecu with them. It seems that all my local vendors keep getting ****. I was thinking of using vadim at first then all the **** happened with him I called gtpro about getting my first dyno done before I started any mods I never got around to going there though. Then I was thinking of getting a pulley from evosport and then everyone is saying a pulley will do nothing for my car and I read that evosports pulleys were causing electrical system issues. I did read this from the MHP guy though that hates them so I don't really know what to take from it, but if it yeilds no power than it's not really important. I hope there is a good explanation for this, but I really didn't even watch or read it since it seems rather long.

Honestly Jon, go with GT Pro, I have not heard one bad thing about them. They seem to be a great bunch. Do not let this scare you away from them. Go check them out and go from there.

Hopefully you are right it's a little disappointing reading things like this. I keep putting off doing anything to my car because of road blocks like these.

I can’t believe it, a smokey motor fix is not rocket science, a rebuild or new turbos should do the job. They replaced the pistons, head, block and turbos, that is basically a new motor. He had put some miles on it between fixes and smoking again but doesn’t indicate how it was driven before it failed again. I would have used the car as a boat anchor long before it got to this stage and would never allowed the myself to keep spending that kind of coin. This car just isn’t worth it. And why persist and not cut your loses and take it to another performance shop. Commonsense says you had to pull the pin before it got so out of hand. More money than sense to me and the elaborate comeback to hurt GT PRO’s reputation wether or not he’s right or wrong indicates a spend whatever it takes mentality to me. Very strange indeed, I’d also love to hear the other side of the story.

is it just me or is it raining in the 2nd vid and he continues to talk and record?
so the guy didn't have any problems prior to having the parts installed by speed injected. once they installed everything, the thing started to smoke. could he not have gone back to stock to see if the parts or the installation was the problem? i mean, i understand wanting to get the car to work properly once all these parts were installed, but you would figure it was either the parts itself or the installation. was the car ever taken to a different mechanic other than performance shops to see if it's something simple that may have been overlooked by looking at all the new parts?

We've installed the EVOsport 63AMG Pulley on a few vehicles and it does in fact provide a nice gain of 8-10whp.
Let me know if we can help answer any questions for you... I think we should all wait and see what GT PRO has to say, there is always 3 sides to any story.
