Around 3 more months until I can drive again. Snow is so depressing.

Anyone else have their car parked?

 

Not sure where you're from, but snow here isn't too bad. It'll snow, and by like the next day, if it isn't still snowing you can be tearing up the roads again, assuming you don't mind a little salt.

 

I'm with ya Merc! My car has been parked since November and its so sad to see it sitting there all lonely. I've thought about taking it out as our main roads are pretty much dry, but I'd have to make it the 4 blocks from my house through pure ice and monster divots to get there.

 

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED??

Out here in Chicago, it will snow, then dry up and have the white salt crust on the pavement but you can still drive. I would not drive it in the snow unless you have good tires but when it dries up you can certainly still drive!

 

I have Toyo snows on, but in the DC area I've had to use the GL to negotiate (think in feet of snow here) my way to the mostly cleared main roads. Cabin fever re: the 63 has definitely set in...

 

Same, parked. And assuming you have the stock tires, they should be above 45 degrees to work properly.

 

C63 parked in the garage with snow tires on so driving the ML with snow tires.... DC has gotten crazy snow and we're about to get 10-20 more inches tomorrow to Wednesday.

 

Yeah... definitely not looking forward to that... we've had an insane amount of snow in the area lately... I've had the car for more than a month now, and it has all of 175 miles on it....

 

1. That's so sad.

2. We need to get some DMV meets going on a regular basis! (this goes for everyone posting here)

I have winter tires mounted on the oem wheels, but the car rarely sees outside, only when the roads are dry and the air is crisp, a little salt wont hurt, especially I get it washed before parking again, otherwise I will venture out usually in my wifes 09 ML or my daily driver the 2008 Dodge Ram.....though I really do miss driving with the windows down and hearing that motor.

 

Up in Canada, -20C and snow every where. I cry myself to sleep daily.

We just got 28" in baltimore, and they're calling for another 14-22 this afternoon into tomorrow... and then more snow next week.

We got our first real snow fall today. The AMG handles great. It's so much fun in the snow.

 

My car has been parked for a bit but not months. I cant wait for this snow to clear up and turn the boost up and hit the track!

We have a bunch of meets in the DMV area. Just not in the winter. Actually have MIR rented on Feb. 28th but Im not sure if all this snow will melt by then!
