Service A (Cost?)
Im almost due for Service A based on the annual checkup as Im only at 6200 miles.
I searched some threads in the W204 C Class forum and saw some pricing but Im going to assume MB charges more for our car (even though its probably the same thing).
I was quoted $240 and was wondering what you guys have seen. It seems like service depts on the west coast offer more discounts and are more competitive for pricing.
Im located in Northern NJ by the way. Would love to hear what people in my area are seeing so I can at least get them to match other places (if cheaper).

I had mine done in December and I was charged around $400 plus tax. My biggest beef isn't the cost. I just hate that it can be so different at other places. I understand that volume and labor costs greatly influnce this difference in cost between different geographic locations, but it just rubs me the wrong way thinking a service in dfw (a fairly large market place) is more than just marginally more expensive. It is like being in a mall with two stores, and they both have the same widget. However one store sells its widget for more than the other store, and you have to shop at the more expensive one.

About $380 here. They checked over vehicle and also found battery was loose and fixed it. The dealership is expensive but they have a small "obligation" to make sure things are ok and that all components check to MB standards because after all its their mark and name that goes with it...
