Took some pictures of my C63 by a proper camera

Here are some pictures that I took this afternoon.

I'm new to DSLR, and I know that I'm not good at picture editing.

Anyway, here you go...

2nd to last pic has some nice depth of field. A teensy bit overexposed, but that's natural as you're taking pictures in the harsher part of the day. Great flix for your first time though!

What camera do you have? Do you already know how to use manual mode?

I bought a D90, and I took these pictures with a 35mm/1.8 lens.

A friend of mine has been lecturing me on how to use this camera on M/A/S modes. I'm kinda addicted to photo shooting for the past 2 weeks,

Very nice! Recently picked up a D90 as well and can't put it down. If you were shooting on M, what were the settings on the second to last pic?

thanks for all the compliments! I'm still in the process of learning how to take great photos. As you can see from my pictures, I'll need more practices and to advance my photo editing skill.

I shot all these pictures in A more which is aperture priority. So all you need to do is to set your F stop, and I set the F stop to 1.8 since I shot these with a 35mm/f 1.8g lens. I shot them at F1.8 because I want my car to stand out and to have a depth of filed on the background. Then you would have to set your white balance according to your preference, imo, never leave it in AUTO. At last, I set color to vivid with full saturation.

There is a really good website called kenrockwell.com, check this one out. He's written some really good tutorials.

For all the people here learning to use the D90 or other Nikon Cameras
and if you have an iphone or itouch heres a tip:

Go to app store and find something called DSLR TOOLKIT FOR DUMMIES

Link here : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/digit...350489217?mt=8

It is absolutely amazing! No need to ever dont know what settings to use. The app taught me well!

Nice pics. Get a tri-pod, and try taking the photos from different (especially lower) angles. You might be amazed by the results.

I actually think they came good considering you just got the camera.
