Sahara Interior - How are they holding up?

For those of you with Sahara that have had your cars for awhile, how is the interior holding up?

Any staining, discoloration, other unusual signs of wear?

1 4 year old boy. No complaints.

Driver seat does not like indigo denim. Cleans well.

No complaints love it

Just need to wipe it once in a while with a damp cloth.

And it looks great.

fwiw, I had Sahara on an E350 (sold it last year.) Blue jeans stains all the time, but it did clean off (and yes, it was optional leather and not MBTex.)

Went back to good old black with the 2009 E63.

No stains, plus beige looks too feminine and Palm Springs Frank Sinatra-like on a Mercedes, imho.

+1

The only time I would settle for a beige interior would be on a Ferrari.

Very slight sign of wear on the side bolster of the driver's chair, otherwise I like it a lot. Makes the interior look more airy and luxurious. That said I'll be getting black on my next car just to cut down on the time I've spent on the maintenance of this light interior.

I like to ride in my Sahara Beige car while I go antiquing with my partner Chazz blasting Almost Like Being in Love by Frank Sinatra. I can't be the only one.

I bought my car as a second, prize car, so i don't plan on getting it dirty, nor would i ever buy an option on a car with the idea of how well it would stay clean. i'm such a clean freak about my car, I actaully enjoy cleaning mine. My garage has a surround sound flat screen tv. I clean with movies, football, hockey or baseball, or anything else on, and I hate to admit it, but I love doing it.

So, no silver cars with black seats so they stay clean for me. I went black (no obsidian either) with near white seats, and i look foward to keeping it pristine while watching the phillies win another championship this summer- hiyyyyoooooooooo.!

Amen bro.

I'm happy to hear that I'm not the only one that enjoys detailling my car.

Got to get one off those garage flat screen tough.

IMO the sahara beige interior looks more EURO supercar plus nice contrast too.

It makes the seats stand out much more IMO.

I didn't tint my windows so that you can see the seats and interior better from the outside.

Plus way cooler in summer sun, cooler meaning you don't burn you behind.

No issues other than the obvious already stated issues about dirt shows more and it needs to be clean more often. I believe those issues are minor versus the obvious gorgeous looking interior.

No way I'd have a black interior here in the South. If it means that I have to be knowledgeable about window treatments and listen to singers from Vegas in the 1950's then so be it. On a side note, anyone else have trouble driving in heels?

I LOVE my Sahara interior.

As some said, slight staining from jeans, but cleans off fine. Just beautiful and especially with the "small" interior of the C-series, it does make it feel bigger inside. To me, the contract of black on Sahara is stunning.

I agree with you 100%. I love black cars, and the contrast of the interior is very cool to me.

Bumping this really old thread to get some opinions with 5 more years on the seats. Any differences now?

Also, what do you use to successfully clean denim stains? Thats my big worry.
