C63 vs M3 Summer Challenge
As many of you know one of the rivals to the C63 has been the M3 in many forms. The latest form is the supercharged version that now runs similar and some better than the C63 modified. They are two great cars that deserve respect but make good rivals.
We are setting up a Q/F M3 vs Q/F C63 showdown at MIR to take place sometime this summer at MIR--dates will be set and confirmed asap.
One of the M3 owners, Joseph/"sticky" is planning to drive from CA to MD (MIR) for the final event--along the way he'll stop in TX and AZ to race assorted other cars. Thank you for undertaking such a trip.
At the main event at MIR, we need to have as many C63s on hand as possible to race all the E90 M3s that will be on site supporting Joseph. Much like pre-fights before the main event, we can race C63 vs M3 all day long, culminating in the prize fight of the year so to speak.
So, fellow C63 owners, get ready to run your cars!!!
Get the mods started and completed by the summer!!

However, you never know what mods will be out and on by then.
Hopefully there will be other heavy contenders by then. We will need as many "C"s as we can get!!
I believe by the summer there will be some other mean M3's and some other mean C63's.

I would be more than glad to line up with any M-3 with basic bolt-ons, I simply can't compite if they have a S/C on their M-3.
If someone wants to race me at SIR(Tucson) or Firebird(Phoenix) I will be glad to show up.

Keith: I wish Pencil Geek would travel with Sticky to the event. I'd like to see how PG's stroked M3 do against a tune only C63. If other M3 owners find this thread, I hope they won't ruin it like the last one. One of my friends here in Vegas with a E92 just told me there is a E90 with an ESS blower in town.
Are there any C63s that even trap close to 129? What is JrCart trapping with NOS?

Just a reminder that summer weather, at least in Florida has a HUGE impact on 1/4 mile performance. Much more so on our big NA motors than those with FI. Not sure how the climate is in Maryland?

Well, from those vids... looks to be right around 12 flat. 
A quick check on dragtimes shows the fastest E9x M3 to date has ET'd 11.88 (unless a quicker one exists but doesn't post).
Assuming both make a clean pass, it seems quite possible that the C63 will win the race, but likely with a lower trap speed. Should be close, however.
