Anybody have Pilot Sport A/S Plus on their c63?
I am thinking about getting them because one of local tire service places said they have a 45,000 mile thread guarantee and I asked even if I have a staggered fit would they still refund if they don't go the whole 45,000 miles and he said yes they would. So I am thinking about getting them. Anybody have problems with them?

Yes, I now have a full set of these Michelin Sport A/S Plus tires on (265's in the rear and 245's up front)...love them so far. After > 4k mi. on the rears, I don't see much tread wear yet and virtually no difference in traction/handling thus far.

I wish my tire shop would give me a warranty like that. I have a/s plus tires all the way around, and because I cannot rotate them, I was told I do not qualify for the warranty. I have been lazy and not contacted Michelin. I am unsure of their exact warranty, and I was not sure where the terms of the warranty were on the Michelin website. Is the warranty you received a wink, wink/nudge, nudge type?

However, I can only find the limited 6 warranty on the tire. I couldn't find the terms of the 45,000 mile warranty. I looks like it is there, but it will only tell you the tires and the mileage covered.

I have 245 for the fronts and 275 (Pilot Sport A/S Plus) for the rears and will be selling them once my new wheels come mid-April if youre interested -- probably have less than 1,500 miles on them considering my car only has about 5700 miles since I got it at the end of June 2010....

i have them too... i haven't checked to see how much i have left on them... what level does it have to be for them to replace them? and what happens to the fronts that will likely have a lot more left?
just checked with a penny
from what i think are the wear bars.. the middle strip is pretty much on the same level as the wear bars. the penny says it's 2/32
the rears have a lot left just by looking at it and comparing them to the fronts...
i changed all 4 and have put about 9200 miles on it.

Another very good AS tire- Conti Extreme DWS. Just ordered new 265/35/18 for rears. My previous rears were the same tires but 255s. Lasted about 10k with three drag days. WOT runs often. Try to get that with summers.
