Top Gun Run - Participant List

Here is the full lists of cars that were registered for the event. 69 Total.

As you can see there was a wide representation of cars. Not sure who actually ran.

'09 C63 AMG

Interesting that there were no BMW M3's who registered...did any run? Also, how did the two '09 'Vette ZR-1s run?

The ZR1 ran 2 cars before us. The announcer said that the ZR1 did 178 MPH.

There were 2 BMW M3 registered... Yes they both ran but not sure what?

Very impressive that you ran within 6mph of the ZR-1 and Dad's C63 ran 2mph faster than the ZR-1!!!!

I saw there were 3 c63 there.
1st Dadc63 MHP s3 less cams. 180.73 mph
2nd was Jim MHP tune only. 172.1 mph
3rd person there was he stock? He ran 163. Mph

He has a tune?????? R u sure? Lol it funny that he ran almost 10 mph less then MHP tune only car.

Now what does a stock c63 do a mile in The 150 area?

Not bad for a $800 tune 168.7 mph is fast.

A stock C63 will run in the mid 150's according the mile history sheets. Not sure if thats because of the stock limiter or if thats what it actually runs.

I can tell you that at that rate of speed 2.4mph is quite a few feet. At that rate its taking a long time to gain that few mph. Look at the break down I put on the post where I only gained 3.4mph in 1000 feet at the top. I think if you raced all the way to 175mph or more there would be a long distance between the cars.

The biggest difference I think you would see between our "tunes" would be in the 1/4 mile and maybe the 1/2 where the HP difference would show.

It's easy to get a car to go 160mph in the mile but to get past 165 in the mile it takes alot more HP for each mile per hour gained. Look at the 1.25 mile results were we only gained 3-4 MPH in the extra .25 miles..
