New set of AMG multi-spoke

The weather was great and I decided to finally put on my new set of 19" AMG multi-spoke rims.

i'm running Bridgestone Potenza RE050A pole position.

Front alloy wheels: 19x8.5" ET43
Wheel part number: AMG B66031117

Rear alloy wheels: 19x9.5" ET43
Wheel part number: AMG B66031118

235/35/19 front
265/30/19 rear

i'll update again regarding grip and feel after i get some miles on it. i took a picture from the rear of the car to show how wide the rear tires look. it doesn't stick out from the rear of the car at all.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I do have to give Barry props as he helped me in choosing tire sizes for the rear.

Congrats!
There is something "magical" about those wheels.
They look SPECIAL
I personally think that they are the best 19' wheels for C63
They have a unique color scheme
Spokes design makes them look bigger than 19'
They are sporty and yet classy. They keep the essence of Mercedes elegance and luxury and at the same time deliver performance (racing, track) character of AMG.
Very good choice.

PS Were you considering 275 for the rear?

i completely agree with you. No - I did not consider 275 for the rear. I only wanted to go +1 in tire size.

I have noticed the ride is stiffer compared to when i had the 18s. I am not sure how the car compares to a C63 with the PP package as I have never driven or ridden in one. I would say that it is a little stiffer but i like it.

I got them from my dealership using the part numbers. I was lucky and there was only this one set in the United States. They got them from a dealership in Orlando. I got them for $3600 straight up no tax which I believe is a great deal.

you can order here.

awesome job, i understand that they have the 18's in the us but the 19's are hard to order and are very rare. I wonder who actually bought their c63 with the multi-spokes already on the car?! lol

You can't get these 19s in the States. I don't think they came on a car. I didn't ask why the rims were in the states. Once i found out that was the only set, i was like order it now. the dealership had actually planned to get them from Canada until they found these.

oh okay. don't forget to order center caps as that is not included with the rims. maybe you can ask your dealership to just give you center caps if you are good with them.

what tires did you choose?

On that website the price comes out to be about $2,800.00 including shipping. That doesn't seem to be that bad of a price. Thoughts?

interesting... i'm not sure how much other people paid but i had heard of higher than $2800 though. if that is the case and you want the rims, i'd jump on it. i wonder the conversion rate has dropped to decrease the price.

Yes, please do update. I've read other posts that simply rave about the 19's and say they are the perfect fit for this car. I'm planning on doing new wheels when all 4 tires need replacing. I'm on my second set of rears with stock fronts. But I don't know if I want to go with 18 or 19. 20 is too big for my taste.

Probably HRE's or these AMG's for me. Tough call.

The real difference when your ordering from http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/mer...poke_wheel_278 is that they are in the UK so your playing a game of US dollar vs. British pound. I bought mine on a day when the dollar was strong, so I paid $2,400 which included the center caps and shipping. Might want to wait and check some currency exchange web sites to check on how the US dollar is holding up.

I got the caps ordered also, but asked them to all be shipped together. Based on some others recommendations, I ordered the Titanium Silver caps to go with them.

I'm still on the fence on tires as I haven't recieved the wheels yet, but I'm torn between another set of Nitto 555's or Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport's. I've had amazing tread life with the Nitto's, but I kind of want to venture out and test a different tire as the Nitto is a nightmare for wet conditions.

oh good.

The Potenza RE050A pole position are good so far. it rained pretty heavily in DC today and the roads were very wet and the car handled the large puddles very well. i'll make sure to update after 500-1000 miles so that i can gauge things.

i have noticed that going around a corner at 45-55 mph, the rear sorta feels like it wants to come around the car more than with i had the 18s.
