Pics:: Black Multispokes + Black Window Trims + Full Black Alcantara Steering Wheel

The project is not complete yet. I blacked out the window and trunk trims with black gloss vinyl but hesitated about the roof rack and door handles. However, now I decided to give it a try and next weekend am planning to go with that

Until now:
-Black 19" Multispokes
-Black Grill
-Black Window Trims
-Black Trunk Trim
-Black Tint
-Full Alcantara Steering Wheel - color Deep Black

It's very difficult to capture the depth of the blackness on the steering wheel. It's actually very dark. Love it.

I also would like to dim my mirror turn singals but Lamin-x does not offer this option. Moreover, I definitely want to go with MNL_ICE's emblem mod (red and black).

Very nicely done! Have thought of getting the emblems done in satin black finish? Whatever the case, you are doing a great job on your build.

Thanks I'll do it this week probably.

As I said in my first post:
Moreover, I definitely want to go with MNL_ICE's emblem mod (red and black).

Very nicely done; I think the badges are going to look great (especially with the colors in your license plate). Love the AMG estates!

Nice to see a "Super Wagen." As for the steering wheel, did they simply cover the existing leather?

That was an option but I ordered the shop to take the old layer off and cover the bare steering wheel with alcantara.

A friend of mine told me that I should leave the old layer so that the wheel becomes thicker but I didn't listen... maybe he was right. Anyway I'm extremely happy with the way it turned out. I wish I could show you the true color of the fabric. In reality it's much darker than the center of the steering wheel

It's just a shop which specializes in that kind of services - all kinds of leather upholstery of interiors. It's topnotch quality and costs here around $150.

There are a few I could choose from in Polnad - taking only the most professional ones of course. Here's a link to a shop with such services (not the one I chose, but they have an international website):

To be honest I dont like the mirror mod you've posted. I know it's the easiest way to use black vinyl but the mirror on you pic looks like from the W203 C-Class. I dont like it

I'd rather stick with my idea of some sort of lamin-x product shaped to dim my turn signals or go with this:

https://mbworld.org/forums/4045733-post6.html

Of course, I would love to have the new 2009/10 mirror but the cost is ridiculous. For the money I would have to spend, I'd rather get the K1 tune.

Aggressive estate.

Do you need to remove the window trim for wrapping or just put the vincryl material onto it without removal?

Thanks

Old thread back from the dead
The vinyl was appiled without taking off the trims.
There are many threads on the forum about this.

As for the steering wheel, thanks, but I changed it to another design.

Awesome. What about a line on top of that steering wheel like the race cars.

The new steering wheel is thicker because it has two layers of leather. Call me weird but the car is more responsive with the thicker wheel
Because of the lighting, on the pics it seems that the leather is lighter than the airbag but in reality it's an almost perfect match.
