so would I. but NO ONE in a stock or even semi-stock E55 or E63 manned up to do it.

and the C63 scheduled to do it had some major issues that day.

Looked like both of them had fun.... I would've thought the M3 edged out the M5 in a drag race due to the lighter weight and better aerodynamics

I agree, a match between a C63 and an M3 would be more relevent to "forum wars". Very interesting that they allowed modded cars but I would not be happy with the venue. How hard could it be to find a 1/4 mile track and true road course. Our cars are not Xcrossers by any means.

These comparisons seem lame and for entertainment only. Some random owners show up that may or may not be good drivers with whatever mods they have or may not have and I saw no sign of multiple tests to base an average off of.

The M3 got a bad launch as you can see it bog off the line and the owner even said he had a bad launch. I'm not sure why people think it's the lesser car based on one race with no professional driver.

That M3 is is a body shell of an E92, hardly qualifies any longer when you make that many changes. Can't imagine the cost involved.

After watching most of the vids I find this show is 90% about the driver and 10% about the car. Seriously the guy in his GF's?!?! Evo has literally no idea what he's doing.

I don't think the M3 is a lesser car.....i think "pencilgeek" is the lesser driver....

which is kinda funny after seeing posts about how fast his stroked M3 is....

It doesn't matter how many mods you car has......because in a race....

You're probably right..........but don't forget, his M3 is a 6MT and the M5 is SMG. Trust me, it's much easier to launch with the SMG and in S6 the shifts are instantaneous and brutal. I owned quite a few cars with a manual transmission and I'm very comfortable with it, but nothing beats a sequential gearbox, especially when you are racing someone.

Anyway, I was surprised nobody showed up in their C63 ........
