My eyelid LEDs (6 months no problem)
OK so I wanted to share with everyone the only LED's that have worked on my car without burning up or turning blue, purple, or some unwanted color. I have been using this LED's for approximately 6 months now and no problem. I bought the xenon white ones and they are PURE SOLID XENON WHITE. If anyone wants some pics feel free to ask. I am posting this for anyone that wants to give it a try like I did... They're great!

I've had these LEDs for four months but have been afraid to use them due to the burned socket problem so I installed PIAA Extreme White bulbs as a stopgap measure. In appearance I rate the PIAA's 7 out of 10...a little too dim and blue.

Def lucky. I gave mine to a friend. He putthem in his Porsche, and they dis the same. Maybe it was the batch? But I have read the same issues win these from others. They looked great at first though. I still have the single sided LED in my interior lights, they work, and look great!! I also read the housing makes them turn blue

I want to know how the color (tendency of LEDs to be more white/blue) matches up with the more yellowish fog lights?
The 63 looks great with just the eyebrow and fogs on, like everyone else just wish the eyebrows were brighter.

Here are some shots from a new batch of LEDs I'm currently testing out from a new manufacturer I've sourced out. Worked with their engineers and these so far look good and should match well to 4300-6000K. Currently doing an endurance test on them and hope to log 50+ hours on them before clearing them with stamp of approval. You can see the contrast from the sidemarker which are the 8000K Blesk lights which aren't quite as blue/purple as that in live view, but gives you a decent comparison.
If all goes well, gonna petition for another round of group buys.

Just upgrade your fogs to HIDs to better match.

How bright would you say those eyebrow lights are? Can you see them in daylight?

Here are better pics I just took of my new test batch LEDs in comparison to the iJDMToy version.
iJDMToy on right, my test LED on left
What you should be paying attention to is how my test LEDs fill out the housing better while the iJDMToy LEDs you can see a noticeable separation between the two LEDs. This is because my test LEDs seem to put out more lumens. My test LEDs are the same overall design as the iJDMToy ones so the delta cannot be attributed to that.
Several MBWorld 204 (amg and non) have been on the search for truly workable LED solutions for the brows for a while now and this new test batch really seems to be the best pure white available.
You can see the full test details here on this thread and will be petitioning the admins to start a new round of group buy.

Cheap....will probably end up being around $10 for a pair give or take a couple bucks. Current LED prices out on the market are way overpriced imo at $30-50 for a pair. Currently petitioning admin to start a group buy round.
