Questions about 2009 CPO C63
Hello C63 community,
As you can see I am new to the board!! Sorry if you see this kind of post on a regular basis from noobs like me. See ThreePointRider's post to prove my point . Anyway, I test drove a 2009 CPO C63 yesterday and I just loved the car. The car is not new, it's got 17K miles and the dealer is asking 56-57K . The car has the P2 package, AMG Seating Package, Multimedia Package, and the iPod Inegration kit. The car is spotless.
My question is what should be a fair price for this car. As I said I love the car but the dealer is not willing to go for less than 56K. I was thinking maybe 52K but again I have never owned a MB. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
I hope to be securing a deal on a C63 soon and post pics on this board.
Thanks very much,
TheRoadMaster76

56k is too much for 17k miles c63..u can find cheaper. My advice to you don't spend more then 52k for 7k used c63 or anything less then 10k miles....my 2cents

Alqamzi,
Thank you for your reply. This is good to know and that's what I thought. I just wasn't sure since this is new to me. I am thinking if I should take the get a new C63 road. I am hoping to get the car in the next 4 to 6 weeks.

Agree, $56-57K (unless OTD w/ TTL) is high for an AMG with 17K miles...especially with the chance that summer deals are coming up, and you may be able to get a new one for around the same (or maybe a few K more).
That car will be 2MY old in a few months...and they are selling for 85% of original MSRP...typical depreciation on this car is 20-25% in 2 years...just my 2 cents on this.

I wouldn't be surprised...should have gone today though...Memorial Day + End of Month = eager dealers...I got the best deal I've ever got on my ML350 at the end of Jan...it was like a fire sale (ie. what do we have to do to get you to drive this car home TODAY!). It was pretty easy to negotiate, since anything short of my "this is what you have to do" led me to stand up and walk out...and they kept calling me back until we were at my $.

It all depends if you are picky on the options.
I agree with most that 56K seems too much. To give you an idea, I paid $56K for a 2009 with the PP, CPO with new Michelin tires, 12K miles in Nov 2009.
I know this was not the best deal out there but it was reasonable especially that I wanted a particular color combo and the PP package.
So if it is the car you want, then price becomes a secondary priority. It is a bit on the high side but still way less than a new car.
If you are not picky on the options and color, then walk away from the deal as you will be able to find better elsewhere (check autotrader and ebay).
Good luck and hope you get your car soon
