Uploading Cell Phone Contacts...
OK, another newbie question. Sorry. How do I determine if my cell phone is capable of uploading its contact list/address book to the car? I guess I could enter everything one by one but that would take hours.

Yeah, it's got BT but I'm thinking my phone is too old and doesn't have the business card export capability. I can get the car into the mode where it's waiting for data but I can't get the phone to xmit. Oh well, time to take advantage of the new every 2 promotion with Verizon.

I wouldn't bother to upload contacts to the car's phonebook. If you make any changes to your phone's contacts list (either on the phone itself, or on Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc. and then synchronizing with the phone), it requires you to manually make the changes to the car's phonebook memory. The system doesn't read the phone's contacts list each time it pairs up, like the way most cars' Bluetooth systems do.
Strange, but true.

You can delete all contacts by doing a reset, but it also deletes all your music files, GPS memory, even the phone(s) that you've paired with the car's Bluetooth.

Do your dealerships not have delivery specialists to go over the car's with you?
