Custom made AMG logo cut out of aluminum...pics inside





I decided to fabricate an AMG logo out of aluminum at work. I Wanted to share it with you guys. Let me know what you guys think of it.
The dimensions are 25 x 5 x 3/8 thick

Thank you. This is actually a gift i made for a very close friend of mine who is a tech at Mercedes. He is going to put it on top of his tool box at work.

I'm going to try and attempt to program and cut the Affalterbach AMG logo. Its gonna be very tricky, I'm hoping it will turn out nice. Ill post up dome pics for you guys.

Yup, FLOW water jet. I dunno if you've seen Orange County Choppers, but its the same waterjet system they use but a bigger one to accommodate larger sheets of metal.

LOL thank you. Im gonna try and make more from different types of metal. Last month i cut 1/4 inch thick titanium for a customer but had no left over pieces. It would've been cool if i cut this sign from that and flamed the edges so it has that blue burnt look that titanium has.

OK , so ive decided to cut more of these signs for you guys. I will let you know on the pricing, but trust me its not gonna be alot. Basically the raw material looks like crap so ive to belt sand it for it to have a nice brushed finish. Just like in the pics.
