10k trunk money released for 2010 c63
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
However most dealers i have spoken to right off the bat, subtract 10k from the car without me even trying to negotiate. This most likely is the 5k incentive plus 5k off the price.
So if your looking to purchase or lease this car for august expect a minimum of 10k off atleast if your in the NJ area.
If your looking to lease for 36 months here are the numbers i was quoted.
"The residual is 54% for the car, and the rate from MB Financial is 0.00280, which is a 5.78% interest rate for the lease."

Believe it ot not, they still "made" $1K on that deal--still a great deal for you!
these cars have roughly 7% from MSRP to invoice and there is an additional 3% holdback for a total of roughly 10% markup from the dealers cost.
If the cars MSRP is $70K they can discount it $7K(10%) before they lose money.
Trunk money is an incentive from MB and allows the dealer to take this amount off the car above their normal discount.
So if MB is offering $10K in trunk money the dealer can discount a $70K MSRP car a maximum of $17K($10K + $7K) to $53K selling price.
So just because someone gets $15K off MSRP that doesn't mean that is the trunk money, that is more likely a combo of normal discount and some trunk money!
oh who gives a shet

From listed MSRP price
Dealer invoice price: ~8%
Military sales / Dealer bottom line: ~10%
Mercedes Benz price to dealer: ~12%
Option prices: ~8% to 15%
When I was getting my car, one dealer with a C63 MSRP at $77k and he was willing to give me $12k right off the bet when I didn't even try, but I end up getting another one with $79k MSRP with $11.5k off, and this is less than 14.5%!! I am not saying that this is the best deal out there, rather the $10k to $12k "trunk money" deal is a very fair discount for both buyers and sellers
There is still a base white 2010 C63 AMG from my dealer in Monterey with $63k MSRP, and with the current discount, I guess you can get it for <$52!! That's like used car price for a new car!
Sheep
I ended up getting an insane deal on a 70k+ sticker price car.
If anyone else is reading this. This is honestly the best time to get a great deal on this car.

I don't post much but this is a great forum with a lot of great information for noobs like us
. Congratulations on your purchase and enjoy the car.
I just followed 4ramins advice from this thread and kept pushing for that price. I had to hear a couple of lectures of how that offer didnt make sense. But at end of the day i stuck with the advice from this thread and it worked.
Now...they have one left...as I brought one home
