Time for mods ecu?
So I m planning on getting my ecu flashed however I dont know where to go. MHP, evosport....I want to get the most power I can from ecu but still be safe not to do any harm to engine life. I was looking at vaeth tune and they claim 565 hp from their stage 2 ECU chip. Whats the MHP ecu gonna give me. Same gains? or less? I know Vaeth is damn expensive but it must be for a reason....or maybe not=))

Im in the same boat as you. Im ready. Im in Long Island NY. I want a drive up shop. I dont wanna mail away my ECU.
No ECU flash will give you 565HP on its own. When you talk stage II you are doing more mods than that. Exhaust ect..

And what the gains be from mhp tune? I mean will it reach at least what other amg models have (525hp)? I will have to ship my ecu tho cause there s no way i m driving just to get my ecu flashed and besides i m in europe. Only if choose vath will I drive and have it done there. I guess i m either gonna go with Vaeth V63S or MHP.

If you get their MHP V3 tune, will that work with the stock exhaust manifold? I'd like to get their tune, but I don't have long tubes yet, and don't want to have to mail the ECU more than once.

Im surprised you didnt here that TTM in farmingdale had Jeremy down and they were doing dyno tunes on the spot . They recently upgraded my car from the Kleemann tune and did manage to squeek out another 11 rwhp compared to the old file . And this was done on a day with a 2500 DA so the #s are off .

The default map is for the stock setup, map is different with the LT headers and the fee to get the update later on was around 500$ or so last time I checked. Plz correct me if I'm wrong
thanks for the info. BTW how many man hours does it take to get the intake gasket and thermostat installed? They seem wo be a must with that tune.

435RW by 20% is 543HP
435.68/.80=544.60 so i should of said 545HP from tune only
