DRL project

OK so this is what I want to do... I want to take this kit http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Hella-Style..._ddl_sku78.htm

and take it to a professional body shop and make them install it either on the BOTTOM of my current foglights or on top... My only issue is that IDK where they will look better, bottom or top? Or maybe next to the foglights towards the middle? I need opinions what you guys think would look better I really want to do this!

Personally, I'd take the fogs out of the picture & just keep the LED's.

It will look sick! But maybe you can get the Audi DLR and fit in on your bumper

nothing concrete yet IDK what to do... The body shop told me they can replace the fogs with the DRLs but it's gonna be like a 2k job.. Now if I ADD the DRL to the bumper somewhere on top or bottom it's much cheaper but IDK how it's gonna look. Anyone with some photoshop skills would like to help a little?

Just get these, much cleaner and you get to keep your stock fogs.

Here is a C63 someone posted on MBWorld a while ago.

It has LED stripes under the grill on the bumper above the fogs. Hope this gives you an idea

Brave try but I don't think it integrate into the stock bumper too well.

Soldier,
I am struggling with the same problem as I really want LEDs DLR as well.
I really don't know on how to make it look as stock as possible. Someone did use the ones you linked to but it was on a regular C class. It looks real good because their bumper is different than ours as he was able to fit the LED bar on the far holes. However for us it does not work as we have a round hole for the fogs.
I had posted (by clicking on my profile and finding my posts) a picture of a round LED replacement that I had taken off a 300M and I think this can be a fairly reasonable good looking option but no one was able to answer me where I could find them.
I agree with the others that the chrometec option seems to be the best looking but it is too expensive for Xmas lights. I had contacted him and he will take off the VAT but he quoted me crazy shipping (like $150).
Let me know what you end up doing as I would not mind meeting up in Miami and maybe doing something at the same time.

why not mount an aftermarket kit (Hella) under the bumper in the vents, that way you'd get the lights without obstructing too much airflow

Hella does have a round LED DRL which I am sure the quality will be top notch compare to the cheaper alternatives out there.
