Question C63 as a second AMG... or smt else??? PLZ Come in

Heya Guys. Im currently running a couple of cars, the most important being my lovely 2006 (regged in march 2007.. first owner) CLS55 AMG...

So far i have changed the front Cats with AMG performance studio items, i have deleted the seconday cats and thats pretty much it... I plan on bringing it to KLEEMANN in Germany in June 2011 to install their K2 Package.

BUT im planning on selling my BMWs and getting something else to drive. I cant possibly sell my 55 cause i love it so much, i just want something else that
a) Is significantly quicker
b) Sounds just as good.

So here is my list of possible cars from most preffered to least preffered. I hope some of you, having driven most of them, will point me to the right direction.

1) C63 Saloon. Less than 1 year old with max 5000km on the clock. No performance package as the suspension will rattle my teeth here in Eastern Europe. BUT first thing i plan on doing is taking the car to Kleemann to have their K2 installed and getting a QUAIFE LSD fitted. Should be relatively quicker than a 575bhp CLS55?

2) 2007 (pre major facelift) SL600 chipped by KLEEMANN to produce 624ps and 1098NM (thats what they claim). Possibly invest in an SL65 exhaust and cut out the catalysts for more volume. So roughly a 3 year old car with about 30000km on the clock. I expect it to be significanly quicker than even a mildly tuned CLS55??

3) The one i like the least but maybe the smarters. Wait for one year and then either buy the next gen CLK63 (if it comes out). Or alternatively wait until next generation C-class comes..... Is MY2012 going to be a major facelift or a brand new model ? Anyone know whether the C63 Would get the V8TT motor?

Feedback MUCH appreciated

You probably aren't getting many responses since all of those cars are fun choices and it will ultimately come down to your own set of preferences.

well im hoping for two things:

1) The fact that many board members have owned/tried most of the cars above, and would be able to give me their "butt-dyno" assesment on what those cars feel like. More importantly, how reliable are they... running costs... etc
2) Surely someone must have heard some rumours/speculations for the next few models, especially the V8TT

The V8TT is NOT coming to the C-class. Biggest change for 2012, is a new C-class coupe with an up-rated 480 HP 6.2 motor (probably the current perf. package 6.2) driving a MCT transmission. I would expect that the sedan (Saloon) would also get the MCT, but I am not sure of that.

The C Class is coming out with their C63 Coupe next year in the US. I can't speak for Europe as you guys get everything, at least a year before it's even seen in the US. I would probably wait for the C63 Coupe, I think the AMG will introduce this as a Black Series possibly. As far as the twin turbo V8, I wouldn't hold your breath, as their destined for the S, CL, SL first, then trinkle down to the E, then maybe the C by 2013.

Any idea on just how small the C coupe is going to be? not as small as an slk i hope.. cause the e-class coupe certainly doesnt look that big

damn.... kinda sad really. Especially considering that the S63 with the new v8tt is quicker to 124mph than a P31 c63

The MCT tranny by default will have the same feature set as the SL63? i mean throttle blip on downshift and LC??

I have seen spy photos of the New C Class Coupe, it's not exactly small. It's in the size frame of the M3 Coupe. The spy photos, doesn't due the car justice. I can't wait to see the actual photos, that Mercedes will release. I hope that MB will make this a BS, to replace the CLK 63 BS. But we will see, what happens.
