I'm the same. I'm trading out on an '11 C2S in Dec, but if someone was looking for a relatively low mile '09 C63 I would let them have it.

I stopped caring about this thread 2 pages ago. But im still waiting for the catch though. I spoke to the same dealer and he said 15K. So walking in got another 4K off without a trade? I also didn't see him say anywhere that he didnt have a trade.

In the end SoCal seems to be the leader in giving out ridiculous deals on the C63 if they are indeed real. Great for the buyer but terrible for the brand. Buying a C63 for 48K brings it into the Dodge STR8 price range and that is surely terrible for MB branding.
No wonder AMG's resale is in the crapper if dealers and giving away an AMG for the price of a GM or Mopar.

Good luck with your purchase. I wanna see some pics of the CF trim.

BTW, don't mean to jump on you....For the first 40-43 years of my life I could not have swung an AMG, so if that is the case I understand.
But waiting for a better deal

I told him it sounded perfect for me, but before we could finalize anything obviously he told me the other sales rep had sold it.
Also, I had not been specifically offered the 19k yet.

Thanks ppl. Here's a couple iphone pictures of the baby AMG next to my SL. It's actually my girlfriend's car and no we didn't have a trade. I'll get some better pictures after both cars get detailed next week.

I agreed with Propain. If one got way deeper discount than me, I would be enlighten and happy for the guy, with small regret for too quick or too easy on my deal. Not in a chance for any jealousy or envy.
But if one mades thing up, it kinds of ruin integrity and little insulting.

1997 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta, 2014 Mercedes Benz ML 350, 2008 MB C63 AMG (deceased), 2009 MB C63 AMG
Where did you end up picking up your 2010 C63 from. Last I could follow, the VA dealership rejected your offer to buy one of their cars. I was quite interested in what car you would end up getting.
I was in a similar frame of mind 2 years ago, as you were before you picked up the 2010 C63. I went to see and drove C63, M3 Sedan with DCT, ISF for comparison. 2 years ago, I put down a deposit and spec'd a 2009 C63 after closely researching the development of the model for the previous 2 years. In mid-late 2008, I ordered an Iridium Silver/Black P2, Napa Leather, P 31 package car that took about 5 months to finally come in. However, when the car finally came in, I ended up taking back my deposit and putting towards the purchase of a 1997 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta. The Ferrari has been nothing but shear joy over the past 1.5 years or so of mostly weekend driving. However, I had always wanted to have a sporty daily driver, as I continued to drive the Camry to work daily (my sacrafice for buying the Ferrari). You wouldn't have gone wrong if you decided to go the used Ferrari/Maserati route, trust me.
Recently I had been researching the prospect again of buying a sporty DD, as I have recently checked out the Nissan GTR, BMW 135, BMW M5, Lotus Evora, E63 (last 2 versions). All of these were intriguing choices, and some were extremely enjoyable to drive (my God, the GTR was out of this world!). However, none of them seemed to fit the balance of sport, comfort and value as a C63. Recently saw a C63 advertised on Ebay at a local MB Dealership, and I ended up picking up a 2008 Black/Black with 19 inch Euro AMG Multispokes, Napa Leather, P2 as a CPO for the upper-mid 40's (I thought this was a killer deal, but sounds like a lot of you folks got some even more killer deals on new 2010's!). Anyway, I've had my C63 for about 2.5 weeks now, and have practically neglected the Ferrari on the weekdays. Have already put over 1000 miles on it. I still drive the Ferrari primarily on the weekends. I found that I had always loved the C63. I do not know of any other car that fits the bill as a sporty, comfortable, daily driver that can, if needed, comfortably fit my family (myself, wife, and 2 young kids). The car was debadged by the previous owner, but the dealer will place the badges back on when they come in from Germany. Any of you guys like the "debadged" look, or do you think I should put them back on (I have always liked the 63 badge on the side).
A Med school buddy of mine who lives near you, in Tustin, also owns a 2009 palladium silver C63 with 19 inch Multispokes. I stayed at his house 3 weeks ago when I took my family to Disneyland. The reexposure to the car probably put me "over-the edge" when I decided to purchase mine, as I purchased my car a day after I drove home to the San Francisco Bay Area.
Anyway, enjoy you new ride, I know I have been enjoying mine.
