MHP Long-tube Headers & Mid-pipes are Installed :: Photos and Quick Write-up
#51
I hope I can get into the 11's after my MBH headers are installed! Of course, I'll be running on my street tires (no DRs) so I'll be lucky if I can manage a 60' time of less than 2.0sec.

Anyhow, I'll be personally testing the Kleemann K2 Tune vs. the MHP V3 Tune on the dyno and at the track this winter. I'll share all the data.
BTW, there is a typo in your signature.

Not at the same dragstrip, but close enough to get an idea of the power/torque gains. Conditions were similar and less than optional both days. There is a couple tenths/MPH in there once weather cools and the humidity drops.
10/01/10 (Woodburn Dragstrip, OR) - w/ MHP long-tube Headers, Catless Mid-pipes
1.796 60', 11.744 @ 119.18 MPH (1/8 Mile 7.595 @ 94.59 MPH)

how has the "silencing solution" worked out for you super? I knew my car would be loud with MHP longtubes and race catback but i have to admit now... it is RIDICULOUS LOUD!!
take a look:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTWI0P-aEAA
thinkin of using it during track days only and a silencing solution for everyday use...

The "silencers" I'm testing work great but I still haven't perfected the easy in/out. I need to try one more thing and then I'll be posting more info.
Thank you. I still owe you an email reply.
No MIR for me. That would be quite a hike from Washington State. Wish I could considering all of our tracks are closed for the Winter.

MHP V3...I'd like to get the cams, possibly the heads as well. Whatever hp increase and weight reduction it takes to break 11 n/a. I guess I'll have to get the rollbar as well. That's the goal anyway..now I just have to find the $$$..

Which of course is offset by the Carbon Fiber Hood and Trunk I ordered.
Awesome, EM. You'll easily dip into the 11s with the headers/tune. If you do go heads/cams/rollbar you'll be gunning for Dad's N/A record.
. . . and quickest!
I just wish our tracks would be open in the Winter. I know this car has an 11.5 in it as-is. Sucks that it will be parked in the garage.

Even Money - if you get all that work done you should be knocking on the 10 door N/A in good DA!!
Superlubricity - I am sure you are close to 11.5's in good DA!!! You'll get there with a tune for sure!!
