Finally arrived - Stone Carbon CF vented hood

Finally arrived - Stone Carbon CF vented hood
Well after a long and painful process due to shipping company mistakes my long delayed Stone Carbon hood came today. The hood came very well packed in plywood box with padding around the box which held the hood which in turn was packed in foam. The quality is excellent with no apparent flaws at all. Install will happen late next week as the car is at AMG Academy event early next week. Will post installed pics and also provide weight of hood before install as some members have asked about the exact weight of the hood in comparison to OEM.
My car is Obsidian Black so I hope that the look will come off well.

Thanks guys....busy week for the car next week. In addition to the hood the following are going on as well:
1. Tinted rear brake lights
2. Black OEM grill
3. Tinted black mirror lenses - was going to go for CF overlay but these came up and the look is clean IMHO
4. CF fender flares
5. Rear vent
6. CF front bumper vents
Objective...delete as much chrome as possible and go all black and CF!

BOCA is excellent quality. I installed the CF seat back covers (see post) and they are excellent quality. I have seen their diffusers as well as they are excellent quality. The fender flares/vents covers/AC vent cover are all BOCA. On order and to be delivered soon (next 2 weeks) are the instrument cluster trim and a new product just released - CF GruppeM-style intake system.

last of next weeks mods
1. Blacked out AMG for trunk
2. Blacked out 6.3 emblems thanks to BadBenz who sold them to me
3. KMPH speedo - tired of having to always look for digital speedo in cluster as it is so small as my dial speedo is in mph been a US car.
Maybe a poser out there would like the two other dials as they would certainly compliment or complete the look
They are up for grabs if anyone wants them at NC.

Couple of questions:
Where did you get the black out OEM grill ? Did a shop just paint it for you ?
Also those tinted mirrors look awesome. They do a great job of complimenting the tails you had done. Were those just tinted by a shop ? Or a film ?
Car looks great. Its gonna be a blacked out beast.

Dave, you're a CF freak... hahaha! I don't blame you, if I had a black car, I would go all out with the CF... too bad my car is white.

I was thinking of blackening out the 6.3L AMG emblem on the sides but if I do that it's just gonna look like a black blob 
What I'm thinking of doing, (going to be hard) paint the original black/chrome piece the car color and the 6.3L AMG black.
BTW whre did you get the grill? Everything looks great!
