Matte white ?

Matte white ?
I'm trying to find out if wrapping my car in matte white would be cool or not.
I have multiple carbon parts ( front lip , rear diff. , rear spoiler ). I guess carbon will be OK with white.
Any pics of matte white C63 ?
Thanks for your input.

Matte white is very nice and I've seen it on several cars in the past. One of the C300s just recently got their car sprayed matte white. Only thing is it'll be a PITA to maintain, especially if you're a daily. One of the looks I was toying around with when I eventually do my overhaul was matte white with gloss white CF accents (lip, diffuser, spoilers, etc).

i agree . matte colors are everywhere now . i saw a matte orange lambo doing a photoshoot in vegas before it's debut at SEMA in '02 . it was pretty cool then cuz it was different but now everyone is going that route . to me , matte colors just look unfinished

Eh, I wouldn't say it's played out.... True there are alot more than what there used to be, but if it looks good, there's no reason why people shouldn't keep doing it, regardless of what others say is played out or not. People have been saying for years that CF is played out and unpainted CF is just unfinished. Some say black/gold/white wheels are played out, but if it looks good, who cares. Same for blacked out roof and diamond interiors, suede headliners, etc. I could go on and on regarding what people keep bringing up as "played out", but to this day, I still think looks good. If OP wants to go with matte, heck go for it if you like it.

if it was me , and i was going to go with a matte color , i would go with something other than white or black . those 2 colors are always used . one of my good friends has a matte white Audi TT with matte carbon accents and he is tired of seeing other cars with the same color . very rarely do you see other matte colors besides white and black . of course this is just my opinion and you need to do whatever makes you happy

If you rub matte paint a little, it's starts to shine. Every wash would enhance it's sheen. If you get a scratch, you cant polish it due to it will be glossy. But I'm with you it does look good.

as a rule, I'm not a huge fan of matte paint--I saw a black matte SL at my dealership and it just looked not clean and I wouldn't even know where to begin with detailing.
However, those matte white C63s look cool in the pictures and I'd lean toward white over black IMO--I like blacked out stuff on cars, but matte black just doean't do it for me personally--I like my black to shineeeee!
and +1 on wrap--don't paint unless you have money to burn!

My buddy did his Porsche in a matte graphite color and it looks good/mean with blacked out lips on the Kenesis wheels with same color centers as the car.
I think matte black is played out so far but soon other colors will catch up.
