::In cabin video:: Resonator replaced with straight pipes.
Its nothing crazy, just me driving around giving an example of what it sounds like inside the car with the resonators replaced with straight pipes.
Lemme know what you guys think, Enjoy...

Sounds great--I can't tell that it's any different, but I find it hard to record the sound this car makes anyway--either way sounds awesome--I like the downshift in the underpassI do it every time!
nice work

Thanks for the kind words, It is kinda hard to get the full sound through the video camera but it sounds alot more throatier then stock. That's my favorite part about it.

I haven't felt that ive lost any power by going with straight pipes, it just sounds alot more aggressive then stock.
If i replace the 2ndary cats with straight pipes i would lose low end power. I would definitely go with an X pipe if were to delete the 2ndary cats.

Made another video tonight at work. I was pretty bored and wanted to take a vid to kill time.

Sounds great! I love your wife/partners comment in your other video when you turn around in the middle of the road, fail, FAIL!

Are you talking about a license plate?
Thank you.
Haha She told me i should have burned out when i made the 2nd pass.
Thank you Boost.
LT headers will make it sound 100x better IMO.

Very good video of straight pipes. One of the few that actually you can hear the actual sound you hear in person from inside! It's fantastic.

I'm curious why you said that if you replace the secondary cats with straight pipes you would lose low end power? Have you heard of this happening to someone with their C63?

Straight pipes create less back pressure which is good for top end power. X pipe creates more back pressure which is better for low end torque.
BTW i like that pic of your dog!! lol

You're welcome.
I have always heard that x-pipes and h-pipes increase flow by allowing the pressure to equalize in some fashion. There's some function of the cross-over pipe that causes the gas that enters that area to speed up the flow of the exhaust that's flowing past it.
I know that was a poor explanation. But I'm not an expert on exhaust systems. So, I apologize.
Thanks for the compliment on the pooch. He's turning 12 and he's still going strong, except for mornings, when it's hard for him to get up. It's like a cold start for our car -- always more of an effort than the rest of the days' starts.
