Not 500 though, 490whp... But the tranny wasn't performing great. Rematch soon with a new tranny.

So there are 2 examples that run12.00 1/4 I walked Walked on more then a few e,s tuned and stock now when I say walked that's means to me slowly pulling awaynot getting bus lengths?? From all speeds.. I've faced a few like?? 4-5 at the track multiple runs. And they are not as fast stock or tuned?? Now u say header and exhaust.. I can only speak for my self which is header/tune I run away on e63's.. (disclaimer). This is my experience and opinion only I am not saying I don't like or think it's slow by any means. I'm not a hater I love all cars.. As for people I dislike most..

What was trying to say was that stock for stock: a healthy running E63 should be able to take a healthy running C63. This is shown by the video and timeslips on dragtimes of my car and oldgixxer's car. We have at least 2 completely stock E63s that are running 11.9 to 12.1 and trapping above 118 mph in two tracks that are located on two opposite sides of the country. I don't think there has been any stock C63 (on stock tires with stock filters and charcoals intact) running 11.9 @ 118 mph yet, has there been one?

When a tune is involved, things get a bit more complicated because the quality of the tune comes in play. However, if all things are equal (meaning same tune from same company, same driver, same conditions, etc....), then I believe things would start to favor the C63 due to the lighter weight and more aerodynamic chassis.

I respect your statement above, and I too am a fan of all performance cars.... I love hp and don't like to hate. In fact, the C63 is one of my favorite 63 out there right now ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Fair enough I'm not talking ***** just what I've seen but I can agree with you.. You guys have fast cars and are extremely good drivers.. Thanks for all the support.. Sometimes I wish I took my car to the track stock.. But to late now.. I guess we can start over when we jump into the next motor. Haha. And thanks again for the post last week hopefully we have another like that in a few weeks!!

Yeah guys,
Dam hats off and much respect. You guys ran some hella times.
I ran two C63s one tuned, one tuned , headers and exhaust.
Neither beat me..
This is all on a NHRA sanctioned track , not rolling.
The C63 continues to impress, guess i just had trouble with the "walking" term as I reserve that for cars that move away "rapidly" at all points in the power band.

The fastest 2007 CLS63 on drag times is a 11.8 and thats with NOS.
Edit: I see most of the times on there are yours! LOL.. 12 flat... nice... still not beating a C63 with a tune and headers though. Going by the site you are tune only and running DR's? Nice times.

I have no clue what you have done to your CLS but if this is stock vs stock... IDK what a tune + headers C63 would do..

You must have some serious work done to your 2007 4400lb CLS63 to beat a C63 with a tune and headers. What do you have done?

I pulled alot of weight off the car down to around 4150 lbs. Lighter wheels, no tools, spare. The car had evosport lighter pullies, relocated IAT sensor, filters, ECU tune . It consistantly dynoed at 430 RWHP 410 tq.
Also I use 100 octane.
To be fair the C63 drivers were new to 1/4 mile racing and put down decent times by the end of the day.
My buddies CLS 63 did go 11.69@124 on nitrous but he never posted his slip.
I think i squeezed my car to the max for the mod level.
I would fear the C63 in any trim as I am aware it is lighter and has similar hp. what can I do? Well tires, fuel, cooling, weight.. I had faster and quicker times and those C63's were pulling 1.8x 60 ft's.
My car is gone, sold but I will be at the next event with something stock. I beleive we have a few C63's in various mod levels, hopefully we can show you some video.
thanks for the compliments, good luck, keep pressing!
