But even a 500+ whp E63 wont beat a tuned C63 in the 1/4 mile or its gonna be damn close.

Nah, I would think that a C63 running with or possibly beating a 'Vette Z06 would require a good tune + headers. I don't think a tuned-only (with or without secondary cats) would be close to a Z06 which typically runs the 1/4mi. in ~ mid-upper 11's @ 124mph.

Notr a chance. It has been covered here a few times before. I personally can also confirm it since I had a C6 Z06. Like I said, not a chance.

Unfortunately the C63 is heavier that what you claim. I personally already weighted the car twice at the local dragstrip scales at South West International raceway(Tucson SIR) and my C63 was 3940lbs with some weight reduction an low gas. Easily well over 4000lbs with some gas.

I removed the spare tire and floor mats.

There is one on the other side as well!! lol. Adds about 50lb's to my car. Always forget to take them out before I go have some fun. I like the laughs and smiles it gets though.

I didn't want to post a different thread, what's the result of a rolling between tuned C63 and a stock M5 or M6. Also between a tuned + headers C63 and stock M5 or M6. I'm curious.

Any experience?

No chance unless they have the stroker motor in them. Full bolt on m6 Barely crack into the 11s a tuned headered c63 is fast. Go to dragtimes and do research.. It easy google the car and ad dragtimes (m6 dragtimes) or any car you want to no about and it'll tell you!!! A properly tuned c63 should easily break into 11s ad headers 11.5 or so..

2010 C63
I don't know what the actual weight diff between a C and E is, but on a road course (Road Atlanta) it seems closer to a 400 lb diff than a 200 lb difference. The E63 is not a nimble car. (Neither is the C). Around a road course, a stock C would kill an E.

Thanks for the reply, quarter mile numbers are don't mean anything to me, I'm curious about highway pulls where it's more about the car rather than the driving and launching skills.

O yea drag times post 60-130 allot?? That could be useful but highway runs most everyyone who knows something will say there not that fair! Someone always will get that quicker reaction on the gas!! Most of these cars you talk about will win one lose one in almost every story or video you watch?

Or even look up results from the Texas mile or Miami mile that should prove power?

The weights listed by Mercedes are a little tricky because they are supposed to be the weights of the car with standard featues ONLY (meaning without one single option) + half tank of gas. I can't speak for the 2010 E63, but for the 2007 to 2009 E63s, almost every single one came with the Premium 1 or Premium 2 packages, which seems to add about 120 lbs. And if the car happened to have pano roof, then add yet another 120 lbs.

I weighted my car and throughout the past couple of years, I weighted a few W211 E63s and to date I have not found a single E63 that weights less than 4140 lbs. The average weight seemed to be around 4200 to 4250 lbs.

Please remember.... not every E63 out there is running healthy and with the right setup

By the way, which E63 has 500 whp?

Mo seems to be forgetting the fact his car and my car both when lined up heads up with tuned C63's had quicker and faster times. I believe the C63's in question were equipped with HEADERS and Exhaust.

The C63 was not "walking" the E63 or the CLS 63, nope.

We have another chance to run the cars coming soon. We will post up a vid of the STOCK E63 vs a C63 tune. I think you guys certainly have the advantage , but I dont call it "walking" its not enough to feel unchallenged, this is a driver determined race .

It's definitely not walking as in C63 vs G37 or something like that. However, even stock vs stock the E is not able to go in front. I had this experience in a race in Mexico and even though the E63 got the jump I was able to reel him in and pull about a car on him. I had absolutely no tune back then, the guy was also alone!

So there are 2 examples that run12.00 1/4 I walked Walked on more then a few e,s tuned and stock now when I say walked that's means to me slowly pulling awaynot getting bus lengths?? From all speeds.. I've faced a few like?? 4-5 at the track multiple runs. And they are not as fast stock or tuned?? Now u say header and exhaust.. I can only speak for my self which is header/tune I run away on e63's.. (disclaimer). This is my experience and opinion only I am not saying I don't like or think it's slow by any means. I'm not a hater I love all cars.. As for people I dislike most..
