The First M3 Into The 10s...
Congrats to the first M3 into the 10s with 100 shot of Nitrous. It is exciting to see both of these platforms go quicker and faster everyday. This is the quote from M3post which was posted earlier today....

Went to the dragstrip yesterday determined to get into the 10s. It was a Buick Grand National race that allowed test and tune between rounds. I surprised many black Buicks when a lonely white BMW blazed down the track. Car was at full weight, 96 octane (I added 2.5 gallons of VP100 to the 93 already in the car), and no burnouts (went around the water box every run).
On the first run I went 11.53 @ 126.7 mph on just supercharger. The in car video below shows that particular run. Enjoy!
Next run I added a 100 shot of nitrous in second gear which gave me a 11.07 @ 131 mph. So close, but not a 10... :tears:
On the final run I decided to hit the nitrous as soon as I went to full throttle in 1st gear. It felt like a Toyota with a stuck throttle hit me in the rear when the nitrous came on, but the beefy 305/35R18 Mickey Thompsons held their ground.

Many C63 forum members are car enthusiasts of all kinds and I know some are very passionate about high performance cars regardless of make. So I figured to give them an update on how the other platform is doing. It is always good to watch someone's hard work and determination pay off

Everything else on the car was stock including charcoal filters, air filters, spare and tools in the trunk, etc.... If you think my car is fast, you should check out oldgixxer's E63. He ran 11.95 @ 118 mph all stock (on stock continental tires) with a baby seat in the back

Going through some tough relationship stuff. But the other thing is that people clutter the forum with info that digresses from the main interest of the C63 which I am so curious and passionate about and it drives me nuts!
