Not feeling the fender flares... looks like it's a custom/home made job more than an AMG work. I'd have to see the final product though.

That just looks like a C with some homemade mods.....i doubt AMG would be using aluminum siding to mock up fender flares

There are currently 2 threads running with this story...this thread pretty much sees it as someone's project car but the other thread seems to think it's the greatest thing on earth. I don't get it...if that's what AMG is going to do to this car I will sell mine and go back to an Audi...there's just no way that's a factory effort.

And this guy also has an brand new E63 on the right + another Benz on the left ?? Doing some custom body work while looking at the engine ? You also forget the rims and amazing brakes. A bit too much for a custom body work.

I bet you think there is going to be a mid-engine Corvette soon, too, right? Not factory AMG, it's homemade, period. When that model comes to my Benz dealer I will eat crow and apologize to everyone. Very unlikely.

2013 ML63 AMG PP
That looks like they are testing the wider rear axle and possibly a wider front axle, with bigger brakes (see front alloy), more powerful engine, and possibly a MCT transmission. The aluminium 'homemade' flares are most likely there to make sure the car is road legal for German roads where you are not allowed to have wheels sticking out of the wheel arches. Notice the E63 to the right and another AMG to the left. AMG test group!
