C63 Dyno numbers from OE Tuning...
Went down to Gintani this afternoon, and had my car dyno tuned.
I cant express how great OE Tuning is. Jeremy is an amazing guy with extraordinary talents. He made my car put down more power then I ever imagined.
I want to express my appreciation to OE Tuning and to all the guys at Gintani.
Here are the numbers....
I pretty much made an extra +60 HP and +43 TQ over baseline.

Do they tune the car on the dyno? Also, exactly how do they tune the ECU? Does it have to be removed, do they open the ECU, or do they just flash it thru the OBDII ? Thanks and congrats on the new power

After Jeremy flashed the ECU. We got the car on the dyno to see what kind of power it made.
So he took the ECU back out, opened it up, tweaked it, put it back in the car. We ran it some more until we made another 15whp. Overall we made about 60 wheel HP over baseline.

Did Jeremy record any air fuel ratio? I'm going there tomorrow to get tunes.

Can someone give me a reasonable explanation why the baseline HP figure is recorded after 3500RPM, while the tuned figure is recorded just after 3000RPM. I'm a novice when it comes to dyno's so maybe someone can chime in on this? I would think the readings would be consistent in terms of start and stop points?

Some dyno machine have a push button to start record the datas and so you really can't push the button at the exact RPM everytime.

But I want the dyno to read as accurate as possible, even if it is low.
Thanks man.
Im no expert but Jeremy is a tuning guru. These questions would be best answered by OE Tuning.
Yes, 12.7

Agreed, that is interesting, because I thought you only needed to open the ECU once to upload the new firmware version. Once that's done, can't the tuning be done through the OBD-II? I'm sure there's something in the process that I'm missing, though.

Awesome numbers!
Once Jeremy finishes the shop up it will be much better, airflow wise. I was just there on Monday getting tuned and it was a blast like always. Jeremy spent a great deal of time with my car and his time was valued! Gintani and OE Tuning is a great team.
