I'd be curious to know if it is, in fact, a real SLK55BS or a modded SLK55 to replicate a few traits of the SLK55BS. IMHO, the most obvious traits of which are the fixed lightweight carbon roof, forged 19"s, and widened lightweight carbon-reinforced-plastic body kit.
A real SLK55BS MSRP'd for over 100,000 Euros, and that would be before paying for importation and federalization expenses (since it wasn't legalized for sale in the U.S.) ...so it's hard to imagine someone buying one here, when they could buy a CLK63BS for equal (or less) money and fewer headaches.
EDIT: didn't read far enough ahead before posting... so it isn't an SLK55BS after all. Makes more sense that way. Does your buddy call it a "Black Series" or did you just assume it was?

-so no. Anyway back to your question. He said its a blk series. Didnt say if its the real deal or replicate. The only blk series is that the one I know of-Clk63 blk series. So I was like wow never seen a Slk55 blk series. There were many carbon fiber parts on it.

Im a tool? How about sticking to your class. Your racing a truck that is geared for the 1/4 mile and is beating your *** at it. His Jeep is not made to go top end. Even if it was, its a JEEP. A big wall.
You couldn't get much more clueless Jon if you tried...
I think I saw the 997 TT you beat also.. you know the 10.2 1/4 mile car that you beat from a roll. Let me guess, you were pulling on him but never got ahead so your car is faster?
The dude was probably not even racing you. Just for the record Jon, it was you talking **** and tellin lies at ATCO about me. I was your last line of defense. Now your food for the dogs. You should have just took your 11.9 and bowed. But from what ive heard you have made a lot more friends on this forum.

Ill be there but.. The problem I have with this type of racing and please everyone chime in, is.... There is way to many variables. A simple .5 second jump already makes you win even if you are perfectly matched.. It takes a huge horsepower difference to overcome a car on the road. That's why to me at least a controlled 1/4 mile run backed and rebacked up proves a little more. I think you saying your car ran low 12s all day at atco is better back up then you saying you beat a worked m6 on the street? Just my opinion...
