I raced the M6 as well. He has exhaust work. Scoops and his friends said even more than that.

From 40 to 140 for me I was slightly ahead or we were dead even. After 140.... He just walked me to 160 by 3/4 car.

2009 Vs 2010. I have airbox mod and K&N's He is running stock filters.

Remember when you watch the video. Jon is 140 pounds and im 210. His car is 70 pounds lighter. You can see in the videos I am running just over 1/2 tank of gas.

The only difference between your cars are the Airbox mod and Jon
weighs less and obviously your driving skills.

1st race was very close.

2nd gear 40 MPH roll. I got him out off the line but his skinny *** pulled on me about 1/2 car. But even with his 70 pound weight difference at 140 I overtook him and would continue to but I lifted.

2nd race he took me out of the hole. His weight again is helping him. He is able to take about 1/2 car. By the top of 4th gear I was pulling. Shifting into 5th gear I was able to pull 1/2 a car on Jon.

Sorry for the crappy shaky video. Doing unspeakable speeds on a narrow 2 lane road on a bridge is not fun.

So much for the factory freak. This also proves that either the 2010 has more HP than the 2009 or Jon should go kiss Bruce at TTM's *** and beg him for forgiveness and ask him to do the Airbox mod and K&N filters for him.

2nd race looks like he got a tiny jump, but you pulled on top anyways

My question is your starting these 40mph runs in gear (3rd?) why not let the car kick down in S mode, I always felt that was better even though there's a lag at first, but if you floor it on third honk maybe time it???

PS - he will probably say he had a full tank so the weight difference was negligible

Don't think that a '10 is any faster than an '09; although that is certainly possible, there are power variances from any car to another + your airbox mod + high-flow air filters may possibly give you another +5-10WHP. Having said this, you may have edged him out just a tad, but those 2 runs were also very close...neck + neck really.

That makes sense. From a lower roll speed it takes the M some time to come alive. Like I always say, both are great cars! They just have different engine characteristics.

As I stated many time. They are the same car.

But you if consider the weight difference there is no reason I should gain on him. in the 2nd race I pulled a full car on him if you consider he was 3/4 ahead and I pulled to 1/2 ahead by the end.

The weight disadvantage hurts you out of the hole. But on top, the airbox mod and filter work for you.

Id like to do a run from a dig to 150 and see. I think the C63 might edge it out. But damn at 140 he was really pulling away... Crazy V10!
