MY NEW TUNED BEAST.........

I had been back and forth on which tune to go with and i finally decided on the MHP tune and header combo . I couldn't believe how helpful Andy was from MHP . I got myself a real monster on my hands now . I have the tune right now and the headers will be here soon . I can't believe the difference in power . This car absolutely pulls so hard from the dig and from the roll . I had the ecu back last week but it decided to snow here in El Paso , so the test was delayed until yesterday . I finally left the garage and the initial push of the pedal got my attention . This thing responds right away . When i got to a bigger street other than residential , i had the ability to step on it for a while , and the car actually scared me a little . I did a few WOT pulls and the car is every bit as powerful as Andy had said , even without the headers yet . Funny thing about it was that 2 motorcycle officers were sitting at a corner store when they heard me get on it . When i made the return trip back down the street , i saw them sitting on their bikes . They pulled out behind me and hit their lights . I figured a nice ticket for exibition of speed was coming but they let me go cuz they said they have no proof it was me . They then asked me what was done to the car because the exhaust note is what got their attention . I told them what i had done to it and we basically sat there and talked about the car for about 10 minutes . They said they couldn't believe that exhaust note came out of the car . One of the guys said he was going to look into getting one this year . I offered him a test drive but he declined . I finally got back to the house with a huge grin on my face .

Can't wait for the headers to get here to see it's full potential

I'm curious about how you arrive at MHP. What are the pros and cons of different brands if you don't mind sharing. Thanks

exactly what dodger said....you have to do a lot of research . i did this research for about a year . i talked to people on here , talked to the owners of companies and even waited to see people's results . i didn't go with anyone that badmouthed any other company . Andy seems to have the best customer service . his results are proven time and time again . definately do your research before pulling the trigger

Congrats on the tune! Welcome to the tuned club. It is bonkers how much faster the car gets from just a ECU Tune. I just got mine recently too and still haven't found the time to explore the newfound power more.

I'm still debating about the headers because of the louder sound but time will tell as I never thought I'd get it tuned to begin with. My friend told me the headers are good for another 30hp! Decisions, decisions! :-))

Enjoy!!!

MHP sells a "silencer" piece that helps quiet their LT's. It's supposedly pretty easy to take on and off.

I've got the MHP longtubes in my garage. Possibly getting them put on this weekend if my installer is available.

Congards! How much is MHP tune + headers?

Are MHP headers any different from MBH headers?

How do you guys get traction with all that power anyway? Can you run DRs on the street?

I have no idea what your definition of "better" is so I can't help you there.

It would probably be best to call a few vendors up. Tell them what you are looking for and find something that meets your needs.

Better in terms of power gains of course, what else do we need them for?

Every vendor is going to say their product is the best, therefore I am looking for unbiased opinions of other members.

Thats hard as humans we always think we make the best decisions no matter what.. All things equal I'm sure most of the products are great!! Research if you ask me Mhp are the best ask petro mbh are the best ask so&so those are the best.. You about this what are you looking for out of your car? And mods then maybe we could help narrow down some choices!!!!
