***** NEW C63 NA Record - 01/06/2011 *****
In theory, your best trap should result from having the maximum possible average accelleration (g force) for the entire duration of the 1/4 mile distance. This very well could coincide with achieving your best 60' out of the hole - no reason for them to be mutually exclusive. Many racers on various platforms have achieved their best traps and best 60's on the same run. Things like better DA, more hp/tq, less weight, optimized gearing, optimized tire pressures, etc. - all can translate to better 60's with higher corresponding trap speeds.
maybe someone can clarify this..after being out there with this guy once again there is no doubt in mind this car has no sneaky pete in there You guys are seating home happy about dyno #'s and street races you might have had while these guys are doing everything possible not only to make these events possible but to modify their setup for their next track day..then the same envious remarks start poping up!!
His new drag radials alone help his MPH..
I am not experienced with the C63 but I drag race a 4-door V8 sedan alot and have been following what the C63's get stock and modded. Also the physics of NA V8, rear-wheel drive, automatic transmission cars should be roughly the same in the 1/4 mile.
I've got my car down to 3750 lbs with me and have about 480rwhp with extensive modifications (cam, head porting, longtubes, 93mm TB, etc, tuning, etc) but have only hit 124MPH in -1900' DA.
Dodger's car must make ridiculous horsepower with just a tune and longtubes, like 720!!!
I just ran the calculator on this page:
http://www.wallaceracing.com/et-hp-mph.php
Inputing 131MPH and 3900 lbs (ballpark guess on weight w/ driver) and I came up with 720 HP!!! That is a big difference from 451 with a tune, intake, longtubes and bolt ons.

Since were asking... I see you ran a faster time than any 2007 SRT8 on drag times. Do you currently hold the record? I also see you posted a 1.45 60'.
Id like to see the slip with that. 1.45 60' in a 2007 charger is crazy...

Also that day everyone that broke records ran 2-3 MPH higher then usual.
2. He has a more advanced tune then most of us
3. His car weight is a lil over 3600
4. His a great driver
5. With my cals from that site it's 680 horse that to the wheels is about 545rw by 20% drivetrain loss so that's about rite.

A small bit of advice from me is get a higher stall converter (if available) and you'll drop your 60' times and be in the mid 10s

My estimate is I droped 230-250lbs off the car. (so far haha)
