After many months of research and hesitation, I think I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on a tune. Given their proximity to me in Socal and great reviews I've read thus far, I've decided to go with the tune from Jeremy at OE Tuning. I also met met him personally at a dyno day his shop recently hosted and was very impressed with his knowledge and character.

Before I take the plunge though, just wanted to do a quick check-in with those out there who already have this tune and see how your cars are running.

I have had this tune since November and the car has never felt better. It is such a night and day difference in power I would HIGHLY recommend getting the OE tune, trust me you will be smiling from ear to ear.

OE Tuning has very good customer service.

The gain in part-throttle performance from his tune feels fairly significant and that can be seen in the raised torque line.

At higher RPM's the car just flys with their tune.

The difference is amazing. The price is great. Make sure you charcoal delete and throw in K&N's as well.

Just got off the phone with Jeremy. I'm heading over there tonight and doing exactly the same mods he just posted in his dyno development thread (charcoal delete+K&N+tune), and dynoing all the effects.

how does an OE tuned car perform against a stock P31?

to my knowledge its something like this:

Stock P31 > Stock C63

Tuned C63 > Stock P31

Tuned C63 = Tuned P31

Results are in, but I'm gonna let Jeremy post the graphs in a separate thread.

In summary, I am blown away by how noticeable the tune is. The car made great power on the tune, and the charcoal removal added a little extra as will been seen in the plots. Like many have said before, this is exactly how the car should have come from the factory.

Jeremy spent a lot of time going over the process with me and responding to the myriad of questions I had. He was very friendly and fun to hang out with during the 3 hours or so I spent at his shop last night. He even vaccumed my dirty intake tracts while removing the charcoals. For anyone considering the OE Tune and Jeremy's services in general, I highly recommend them. Top notch to say the least!

Can't wait to see how my car performs at Famoso on the 19th!

So true! Ive been in and driven a lot of fast car in my day. The C63 with this tune is really fast. The 1/4 is nice tune only and pretty fast, but what you really feel with these tunes is 60-150. It widens my eyes every time. It just gets up there so quick.

Careful. Get used to the new power slowly. Its pretty much on a whole other level now compared to the stock version.

Here is xtyper's dyno results. C63 AMG no mods running CA91 pump gas. This car was particularly strong on the bottom end un-tuned. Interesting to note the gains from just the removal of the charcoal filters, running the stock air filter.
Baseline (no tune) - Orange run
Removal of charcoal filters only (stock air filter, no tune) - Pink run
ECU tune (with charcoal filter removal) - Blue run

The car's newfound power and driveability with your tune continues to impress me as I spend more time behind the wheel.

Also, I still intend to come back today for a before & after K&N air filter dyno to see the isolated impacts of the charcoal removal vs. air filter.
