+1.....and they're actually killing more trees....see link in post below

so true! i remember reading an article showing that the Toyota Prius is worse for the environment than the H1 Hummer. Epic stuff. Damn tree huggers

Not true....
A Ferrari or Lamborghini isn't a typical commuter car and is for pleasure. The C63 is a great daily driver.

I have never driven a Ferrari - I have only been a passanger in a Testarossa. I find the C63 better in comfort and at is quite simular in speeds... I also prefer the sound of the C63 over the screaming Ferrari.

So for me - it is a pleasure car.

If you combine the C63 to fx. 220 CDI you will easily see my point. The 220 cdi runs about 20-22 km/l and the C63 goes around 10 km/L when driving boring.

I would really love if that could be the same for me. But with 50 km each way to work - and in the fure 125 km each way, the C63 will be using alot of fuel combined with fx. a smaller 4 cylinder diesel engine.

If I did'nt have that long to my work - I would go for the C63 every day

That's like saying the M3, M5, M6 aren't commuter cars. Of course they are, albeit faster ones, but still DD's.

Not me - 87 octane in their loaner

- they gave me a C300 (not fun to drive btw coming from a C63) and it had 4k miles on it only -

whoever had it before me must have had some fun in it because the car was already rattling when idling.

Thanks for sharing........ Not surprised to hear that supply & demand isn't the main reason of increasing oil price... Once again the big banks at their best

I'll keep my gas guzzling Merc because I can and I apparently love supporting the Saudis! lolz
Thank u, I've always made this argument. Hybrids aren't made out nowhere, they require raw materials/natural resources that are finite in supply. If the ratio of gasoline to hybrid cars were reverse, we'd all be complaining about the constantly rising cost of li-ion batteries. It's a population growth/emerging 3rd world development therefore supply and demand issue as for these nonrenewable resources. oh and also price gouging, amazing how some event in the middle east overnight causes gas pump prices to rise in the morning, c'mon.
