C63 Lower Mesh Grill needs to be replaced

Does anyone know the part number where I can buy a new lower mesh grill? I think a rock hit it a few days ago so I have a hole now. I went to the dealership and he says I need to replace the whole bumper, so i didn't know if I could get the lower mesh grill replaced since I was able to remove it a year ago to get it painted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if you can buy the star separately.
But the grill from a C300 won't fit a C63 for sure.

Its so lame its made of plastic. I had to replace one for my X, she had a rock go through her c300. its not cheap either. On the older AMGs we can just usually push out the dings in the metal mesh.

There is a DIY for W204 in the W204 forum. Here is a link to the one for removal of the front bumper. It is the same for the C63. The only thing it doesn't mention is to disconnect the wire connection to the temperature sensor, which is in the small grill on the driver's side. You can see the head of it sticking through the grill. It is really not that hard to do and doesn't take too long once you have it figured out.

Carlsson offers a metal mesh. I'm too lazy to replace it and mine broken since last winter.

I chipped the right little mesh piece, I was hoping that I didn't have to remove the whole bumper to replace it! pretty f***ing annoying for such a little piece.

Lol! You dig that one from the zombie world
But I am in the same boat as I have a small hole in the lower grill. I'll have to get it replaced at some point since I'm selling the car .

Can anyone verify if this is a lower mesh grill? The link in post #2 isn't working. I saw the DIY in the C300 w204 thread but if this is only $44 i don't see the point of that extra work if i can just order this and call it a day.

Try www.mboemparts.com. That grille is $41.44 + shipping.
