My Caliper is Scraped!! Need Help

Unhappy My Caliper is Scraped!! Need Help
Hi Guys

Switched my semi slicks over back to road tires today and the person who installed it put the back wheels on the front. Without even much driving the back wheels scraped the crap out of my front caliper!!!

They offered the repair but the guys said the AMG wont stay on it =_= wth!! So just to have a better understanding I'm sure there are places that would fix this and can still have the AMG redone.. any ideas? and how much would an OEM caliper be... I am really upset about this!!

Your help and input is greatly appreciated!!

You can definitely keep the AMG logo on the caliper if taken to a experienced painter. If not, see if they can replace it.

new one is ~600...i don't see how that can be fixed with paint. AMG decals are on ebay that's the easiest solution

Caliper paint job is usually done by first spray painting the entire caliper, applying the AMG logo sticker once the paint has dried and then clear coat the entire thing. I would assume it'd be difficult to get the exact color matching and etc.

Keep in mind that our original equipped AMG brake calipers are not painted, they are powder coated. I would say try to get a replacement.

Thanks guys for the input and info!! I have forwarded all this to the place, and they have ordered me a new caliper!!!

Will check all my wheels after fitting before driving off!!
