benzo-boi, your illustration is very logical, that's what i tried doing as well using the resistor, but for some reason it just won't get rid of the code, i used a resistor so let me give a try to running some wire to that green wire from possibly my license plate bulbs, because they currently have resistors on them for their led's so they wont give me any issues if i connect that wire to it, BUT.. we still have to wait and see if the damn error goes away! i will give this a shot tomorrow. damn merc. wiring

Just found out on the website for those of you who wants to do taillight facelift, no coding required. Just plug and play. Ask them just to buy the control unit only or complete package along with the taillights.

Hope answer all the questions. Thanks

adinata..... YOU... F*****G ROCK! ![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
i will be ordering mine first thing tomorrow, the control unit that is, do you know if it makes them work like OEM, with the bottom brake completely off until you brake, doesn't matter nonetheless, i'm more concerned for the darn error code! THANK YOU AGAIN.

sorry for mass responses lol, i just found a english inquiry link on that site, just emailed them, will let you all know their response tomorrow, hopefully these work with US models, and are completely error free and make the tail lights work like they should on 12+ models, i will ask him for both full set quotes, and for just the controller for us who have already purchased the controller, thanks again adinata, your help has been much appreciated!

you probrably only want the controller anyways, from the pics it looks like the signals are yellow instead of red in Japan.
Great find adinata, and hope the pricing is fair skokkosis!

hey guy, me email was responded, but i am not sure if this will work for us, perhaps i'll be the guinea pig on this one, like noodleman mentioned, these are euro tails being tested in japan, so they are working for euro models, perhaps if we plug them in, even though we don't have passenger side fogs in the tails, it won't change anything because it will just be resisting nothing, in combination with the resistors you shouldn't have any error codes on the passenger side, and since the rest of the system is the same except US model led's are red, we shouldn't run into any issues. noodelman i am getting the controller of course, no need in the tails, i don't want yellow signals either, YUCK! :p
here's the reply from them:
"Dear Spiro
Thank you for your e-mail.
I can't test for USA models yet.
Because there are no USA models in Japan.
So if you take our installation kit,
I do not know that you can install it without a problem...
I'm sorry...
If you have any question, please send e-mail.
And I'm afraid I can't use English well...
Best Regards."

Looking at the right side light, the LEDs are clearly visible.

i believe we are capable of being coded, and with the non 12+ tails i can see it doable as well, being that they just don't put a bulb in the circuit board, and code it to not give away errors, but on these that i have, when you look in the lense, you can clearly make out, that the slots for the diodes on the passenger side are all empty, whereas you can clearly make them out on the driver side, so perhaps in 12+ they didnt put them inside the housing in the US, I will take a good look tomorrow, but I'm sure the sockets are all empty on the passenger side

RLE, i mean that on the 2012+ the fog lights are made by 6 aligned led's on the tail light, whereas on the previous models (08-11) they were a wedge bulb, so the passenger side just didn't have a bulb in the socket for a bulb to light up, i believe if you were to program the car as you mentioned to work as a euro model, and put a bulb in that socket, it would work as you said, but on the 2012 tail lights that i purchases, when you look inside the tail, there are no diodes inside the fog inlets of the passenger side, so even if you were to program them, they wouldn't turn on because there's no led's in it, further more, i believe that the harness itself on the passenger side does not have a line for the passenger side to power the fogs, even if you programmed the car, so although your statement is plausible, it may not work once programmed because there's no power source for it in the US models
good one cptdaz, and thank you
benzo, no... i have sent them 2 emails after they didnt respond to my initial one saying i would like to purchase the remote even if it doesn't work right.. still on standby...
senc230, did you get a chance to get your friend to call them?
